21.01.2022 Just a few photos from the last couple of days baling silage here at Laing Contracting. We are running Pioneer brand of inoculant on our balers this year with ...the Pioneer Appli-pro ULV computerised applicator. This will also give us the opportunity to bale a bit higher moisture range for hay up to 25% moisture. And make good Silage better See more
19.01.2022 What a wonderful job by Wayne Wells, Michael Collins and Marcus Laing. It took 16 hrs to load 563 large square bales. This included a 4 hrs forklift breakdown that we all had a go in repairing, we couldn't load the lower deck until it was fixed. Once it was fixed we put the last bale on at 945pm. Would also thank Tony Hine for the provisions and Caron Laing for the solo drinks and photos. This ship was supplied by Eastern line Shipping/ Greenhams Tasmania and to all our fel...low community members of Circular Head thank you for all your kind donations. This load of hay is destined for the flood and drought stricken farmers from Edan, NSW and surrounds. We are thinking of all you, know that in your hearts, in the scheme of things, this is a small way of letting you know that you are not alone, keep doing the best you can and take the time to smile because you are all thought of by so many people See more

15.01.2022 Just a few photo's of the new Pontinger Novacat in action ok n it's first paddock.... Thanks Andrew Berechree Andrew White Cobie Walker Jason Timms and the rest of the crew Gaffney machinery for your ongoing support
14.01.2022 Bit of a different one the Helidor speed discs under the drill..... Excellent machine for planting crops straight into groud that doesn't have to much turf mat .... Good for re-Grassing after crops or ground thats a bit wet can be worked, lifted and fluffed up to dry without major soil structure damage as its not getting flogged to death and at 10 -14 KPH drilling speed can cover some ground quickly. We can drop the drill of and skip across the ground up to 16 KPH and slip the drill back on to go seeding See more
14.01.2022 Bit of water about lately surprisingly enough seans we live on the sunshine coast lol ... Might be alright weather for a spot of drain spinning
13.01.2022 Farmers are you Struggling to get your summer Fodder crop ground ready to plant?? On a wet season like this we can rush dry the soil by tipping it over with our four furrow reversible plough creating the ultimate seed bed, utilising the available ground moisture, with Improved seed soil contact means we can run a much lower seed rate /HA and will make for a better crop at the other end of the growing season
12.01.2022 Gday all, I've been given the opportunity to be involved in carting some hay to NSW to help out some of the struggling farmers. I'm chasing a drop-deck tri-axle... trailer. Also chasing larger square bales if you have some to spare, we currently have 4 semi trailers leaving for Melbourne Sunday 12th august. If you can help out at all, give me a call on 0429425125.
