24.01.2022 Today is our Christmas Party. What better way to start the day than to fold an Origami Modular Star for the Christmas Tree. I used different papers to get this effect. :)

24.01.2022 After six months under wraps, ARMs 31-storey portrait of Wurundjeri leader William Barak was revealed to the world on Monday.

23.01.2022 Vale Paul Pholeros. Architect of integrity and supporter of human rights. He will be missed dearly within our industry and we thank him for his leadership. We had the opportunity to meet Paul at the Kimberley Aboriginal Health Summit run by KAMSC in 2007. He was an inspiration and still is.

23.01.2022 Our mates at Mac Jones Architects in Perth have been very busy indeed. Here is a green project that MJAs Matthew Middleton has been working on that hit the news headlines today. The market is becoming much more discerning and selective with regards to the carbon footprint of new buildings. ~ Matt Middleton MJA

19.01.2022 Folks - this is a great page for connections and/or updates regarding the amazing Dinosaur Coast that we have here in and around Broome. We were very fortunate to have been involved with the DCMG in designing their logo. Expect big things to come from our ancient coastline.

18.01.2022 Tomorrow night (Friday 24th @ 6:30pm) Laird Tran Studio and Diverse Watersports will be giving a presentation at the Broome Fishing Club on our experiences in hobby film making with GoPro cameras. We will run through a basic how-to-edit session and will have some cool gadgets to show. So if you are in town come down for a feed, a quiet drink and a laugh or two. There will also be a raffle to win a GoPro courtesy of Diverse Watersports and the Broome Fishing Club.

15.01.2022 Working together with UDLA and NBY, we got some positive feedback yesterday from the Yawuru Community Reference Group of the proposed Liyan-ngan Nyirra (Liyan centre). We are so happy to be involved on this project.

15.01.2022 Here is a little side project that we just completed for Apnea Australia and Karma IV. It was a thrill to be involved on this venture - this will be the first of our Vimeo release projects.

14.01.2022 Well - this certainly was one of our most favourite holiday trips yet. Travelling with friends and living off fresh seafood from our amazing Western Australian coastline. Here is an elevated clip of Karma IVs last spear & fly fishing trip to the Montebello Islands. ...to be inspirational is to be crazy enough to live a little. - Criss Jami

14.01.2022 Our Studio is now saving up for this technology! Terminator T1000 Inspired!

14.01.2022 We have been very humbled to be involved on this project with Nyamba Buru Yawuru. To quote a good friend of ours; the product should be the outcome of a very important process. This is an example of such a project. Watch this space!

13.01.2022 Congratulations to the Indent Pty Ltd building team on their recent Master Builders Award for the Liyan-ngan Nyirrwa.

10.01.2022 These special fly packages will be given away this Christmas. Hopefully people like handmade gifts :)

10.01.2022 Karma IV commissioned LT studio the challenge to draft up their 70ft Catamaran. With nothing but a basic plan (see left), a handful of photos and our memories of the vessel, we were able to produce these accurate floor plans to scale (see right).

09.01.2022 Nathan Laird from the studio is off to Rowley Shoals this week with Karma IV and engineers to inspect the Imperieuse Reef Lighthouse. The lighthouse is a cylindrical stainless steel tower situated in the ocean about 260km west of Broome. It looks like something out of Star Wars. What a lucky soul!

09.01.2022 The Shire of Broome is seeking the communitys input into a new Public Art Master Plan that aims to invigorate the Broome town site through public art. Here are the details for those who are interested.

08.01.2022 While life has been a difficult slog of late, work has been amazing. The Liyan-ngan Nyirrwa is finally finished and looking proud. This is a project that has been cared for by many people and we hope that it shines in the years to come. Thank you for engaging us on this project Nyamba Buru Yawuru. This is process driven architecture at its best.

07.01.2022 An honour to have a photo, from a photography commission last year, chosen as the cover of this Native Title Book.

06.01.2022 We know our wall has been very quiet of late and we apologise. Here is something that our mates @ MJA have been collaborating with that should get people frothing.

04.01.2022 Getting into the spirit of the Christmas and tying some fishing flies to suit the colours of the holiday season. I doubt a fish will go for these, but will look great on the tree :)

04.01.2022 We are stoked! A home (The K House) that we designed for longtime friends/clients of ours was awarded the HIA North West Home of the Year award. It also took out the 2016 Custom Built Home category. North West Builders were the Contractors on the project and our Clients administered the build themselves. A great team effort/outcome!

03.01.2022 We are so stoked to see this project grow from community grass root values to a physical reality. There is a strong story to this project that can be heard if you listen softly. Mabu Liyan.
