Cant travel to that exotic destination, maybe learn how to cook something from a place that you would like to visit in the future. A new language, learn how to play a musical instrument or how to dance. What about knitting or painting. Get your heart pumping by learning something new.... 16.01.2022 I can still remember my fathers face as it was flooded with tears, whilst we as a family watched the miniseries, Roots. An African American had taught my father how to read and write English. A skill that allowed dad to be a very successful immigrant from Greece. This was 1977 on the Northern beaches of Sydney were I was the only one in the whole school with black hair, dark brown eyes, olive skin, 11 letters to my surname AND stuffed tomatoes in my sandwiches!... It was summer and those damn flies were as relentless as the bullying. At least back then, it would stop at 3:30 pm. 1977 was also the same year that I met someone in person of Africa heritage and it happened to be in Paris. As a dancer I was passionate about music and growing up, African American artists dominated my record collection. Watching Roots was one of the defining moments in my life.. Visiting Katherine, in the Northern Territory in 2017 was another. Our Indigenous are suffering. Although the gut wrenching pain of personally being bullied has left me, it has helped me empathise with others that are marginalised for what ever the reason. We can all do more. We can all do better to help make our world a more harmonies place.

15.01.2022 Calmm for you BFF. The boys took our baby girl for a long run on Saturday and she ran so fast that she grazed one of her pads really badly. It was bleeding a lot and she wouldnt stop licking it. She couldnt walk on it and it was clearly distressing her. I put some Calmme on it and as soon as I put it on she laid down and went to sleep. She didnt lick it or even sniff it - it was almost like she was just so relieved she didnt even care about it anymore. You’ll also never see me decide to do a long course race 2 weeks out again . I’ve been a bit homesick so when Anastasia finally opened the QLD border again I made the last minute decision to do Hervey Bay 100... For the majority of the run today was just wishing I came over for cocktails and coffee rides!! It was a choppy swim, windy AF ride and hot hot hot run. . But hey on the plus side I got a nice reality check and solid training day in the bank (unlike anything I’ve done recently). Now for a lil recovery then we will kick off the 12 week build to @ultra355_australia . See more

It started with a beautiful gift from my boys then an 8 km run for @mdc_walk_run @aiavitalityaus which because I miscalculated ended up being 8.5! Making it my longest run in four years ... I did notice some cars drive past slowly I think I stood out in my tutu ! It was so great to be out and seeing @triscat and @traceychristina then @brookee_cherub and @marcelona33 on my laps of the lake it really made my day. I wore my @womensfunrun top and @triathlonpink buff in memory of Cate as those were the last two events we did together before she ran to paradise. A proud Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation The Aboriginal Legal Service opened our doors in 1970 in Redfern as the first Aboriginal Legal Service in Australia, and the first free legal assistance service in the country that makes us almost 50 years old! After dispossession, new laws were imposed, and used to rule over our communities. We had no say in the laws that were created and the police and the courts have historically played a fundamental role in the oppression of Aboriginal peoples. The ALS was founded as a response to this injustice, and in acknowledgement of the importance of Aboriginal people designing and delivering services to our own communities. Today the ALS does legal work in criminal law, childrens care and protection law and family law. We also support the development of wraparound programs and undertake broader policy and law reform work. We continue to fight for the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in NSW and the ACT.

I would get such bad thigh chaffing, especially in warmer months and this product has made my life in warm, muggy weat...her so much more comfortable and easier! You dont need much at all, because a little goes a long way surprisingly even over a large area like thighs!
