25.01.2022 It’s time for our weekly ‘name the skier’ competition. First to correctly name the skier wins a ski club sticker

23.01.2022 ‘Name the wake-skater’ Apologies for the poor video quality, but this clip of our legendary club member had to be shared. Be the first to comment who it is and win a LBWSC sticker

23.01.2022 THE SLALOM COURSE IS IN, WOOHOO Thanks to those who gave up their time to install the course over the weekend, it went in without a hiccup (only 1 man overboard, plus 1 spanner ), and to Mrs Bray for the delicious scones. A big thanks to the VicHealth Active Club grant program for making this possible with providing funding for the course and a shout out to ESP for sourcing & securing the grant, it is much appreciated.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Jayson Petzke on guessing this weeks ‘Name the Skier’. Pictured is Cliff Petzke at age 55, he was a founding member of the LBWSC. The tow boat was Capri which is still owned and used by the Petzke family to this day.

16.01.2022 13 year old skiing enthusiasts and club member Gabby Atkinson has just landed herself the LBWSC Junior girls course record holder title with a FULL PASS @ 40km/hr. It won’t be long until she gives the seniors something to work at. Great work Gab, can’t wait to see what a full summer and a coaching clinic adds to your skiing. I wonder if her older sisters try to take it off her

13.01.2022 Yesterday’s ‘name the skiers’ competition was a little difficult, so here are some clues: 1st photo: 2nd: 3rd:

12.01.2022 Did you see our post yesterday, with the photo showing what’s below the water in a slalom course??.. check out this video to see what could happen if the driver isn’t paying attention

12.01.2022 Our AGM will be held as planned tomorrow, Sunday November the 1st at 3pm, via Zoom video conference. If you’re not a member but would like to attend, send us an email and we will send you the link. [email protected]

11.01.2022 If all goes to plan, the slalom course will be installed this weekend . If you're a LBWSC member and keen to have a crack at the course, we suggest you familiarise yourself with our 'Slalom Course Guidelines' and safety instructions. See the photos below

09.01.2022 Our good friends just down the road at the Boort Ski Club have got a new Facebook page, give them a follow!!!

03.01.2022 ‘Name the skier’

03.01.2022 ‘Name the skiers’ Name all 3 skiers pictured and win a LBWSC sticker. And well done Jason Pickering for guessing last weeks barefooter - Chloe O’Reilly

01.01.2022 Unfortunately the building of the Lake Boga Water Ski Club is out of bounds for all members and members of the public, until further notice. Over half the roof of the building tore off during yesterday’s storm and the building is unsafe for any use. The power is turned off. In other news, LBWSC member Paul Martin claimed the unofficial slalom course record this morning, with a score of 1 buoy @ 13 meters. Well done Paul

01.01.2022 The new slalom course at Lake Boga Water Ski Club is certainly providing some healthy competition and great skiing. Within 24 hrs of hearing about a new course record, club member Toby Gilmour was back on the water to claim back his title. Toby added a convincing 5 and a half buoys to the record (which now stands at 0.5 @ 12m) and looks like he has got plenty more up his sleeve with summer not even officially started yet. Well done Tobes!
