24.01.2022 To all of our Annuals who are understanding and co-operative during this difficult time, we sincerely thank you. However, there are a few Annuals who think the rules don't apply to them. The Government advice and Park Management advice is clear on the closure of our parks. The fines arising from non compliance are substantial. Whether it be our rules or the new Government rules, be warned that if you do not comply then I will have no hesitation to instruct you to remove your assets completely and vacate our premises once this Covid situation is over. Do the right thing and no problems, very simple. Please stay at home and stay safe. See you on the other side.

21.01.2022 More Breaking news!! There has been a huge misunderstanding from our association. It turns out communal toilets means just that, not showers laundrys or kitchens. Currently we can allow you to use every second toilet but you can't have a shower. So stayed tuned, more grey area's. We are totally frustrated and just want to be operational again.

21.01.2022 To help yourselves and our business get back to some normality, I would encourage all our annuals and campers to please download the Covidsafe app. Thank you

18.01.2022 G'day everyone. Just to clarify on the relaxation of Covid rules on June 1st 2020 by Vic Government. We are still required to be closed under advise from Vic Parks and State Government rulings as we have communal facilities. Portable toilets or porta pottys are not an acceptable alternative to using our amenities as they have to be hard plumbed to a sewage system. Unfortunately we still cannot allow you in the parks for any reason at this time. As soon as we get new information we will pass it on, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have as we are still working and available to help. We hope that you are all getting through this situation and are fit and well. Cheers Glen

15.01.2022 It is with great excitement and relief that we can announce that the Lake Glenmaggie Caravan Parks are able to open on Monday 22nd June 2020. The Victorian premier has announced that shared facilities including toilet and showers can be open from this day. ... Social distancing rules of one person per 4 square meter still apply. A sign will be placed outside each toilet/shower space with the maximum number of people allowable within the space, we ask that you respect these limits at all times as that will enable us to meet the new, more stringent rules which allow us to open. Initially every second toilet and shower will be off limits. Extra cleaning will occur, once in the morning as per usual then an additional clean in the afternoon. Hand soap and hand sanitiser have been placed within each amenities space for your personal hygiene. We ask that you exercise social distancing rules, at all times, whilst at the caravan parks. We thank you for your patience in what has been a very frustrating period for our business and our campers alike and look forward to welcoming you back from next Monday. Kind regards Glen, Tanya, Wayne, Tracey and Brodon

13.01.2022 All visitors to the Lake Glenmaggie Caravan Parks are required to complete the COVID-19 Guest Declaration form prior to arrival at the parks. All family and guests at your site must be included on the form including all children. This form will need to be completed prior to every visit until we are notified to stop by the relevant authorities. Please either email it to [email protected] or send us a picture of all pages of the form via text. Copies of the form were emailed to you on 2nd June, please contact us if you need another copy sent. Looking forward to having everyone back at the lake as of Monday 22nd June 2020.

We are currently trying to get emails out to all our Annuals who have suppl...ied us with email addresses, but we ask you to please share this information to anyone you know in our parks. I am available on the phone or leave a text or PM. Glen 0409854106 or Tanya 0481222353 Thankyou and stay safe Glen & Tanya Coles Proprietors See more

10.01.2022 Please note from opening day on the 22nd of June onwards, you must fill out the Covid Guest Declaration form including all members of your family and any friends who tag along. Email it to; lake [email protected] or take a photo and send it via text on 0409854106 before you arrive at the caravan parks. No excuses please. We must know who is in the parks at all times. Thank you Glen & Tanya Coles Proprietors.

08.01.2022 As you can see, the road is blocked off going to sites 150 to 158 at the moment due to a large water leak. The ground is very soft and may not be ready for vehicles and pedestrians on opening, so please be careful. Thanks Managment.

08.01.2022 Dear annual site holders, It is with huge sadness that that we inform you that the Lake Glenmaggie Caravan Parks must still remain closed. After reading many contradictory media reports over the past few days, we have sought further advice.... This morning we have had legal clarification on the Department of Health and Human Service Victoria - Restricted Activity Directions (No 9) and that advice is that, unless each annual site has a legally plumbed shower facility, we are not permitted to allow access to the parks. Our plan was to open our communal toilets but not allow access to the showers but we have been informed that this is outside the allowable activities and therefore we must remain closed. We know that many of you were looking forward to spending the long weekend at the parks and will find this change, frustrating. Please believe, that we have spent the past week putting plans in place to welcome you back, and are also frustrated. Please do not take your frustrations out on our staff as they cannot control the situation nor make any interpretation regarding Victorian Government rulings. Kindest regards Glen, Tanya, Wayne, Tracey and Brodon

07.01.2022 To all annuals and campers, This was received today from Vic Parks (Victorian Caravan Parks Association: Caravan Parks must close to tourists from midnight tonight.... The Victorian government has today announced that caravan and camping parks are to close at midnight tonight, 25 March, except where people live there permanently or as an interim abode where the primary residence is not available. This new measure was announced to contain the spread of COVID-19. The announcement means that parks must close to all tourists but may remain open to serve residents and site tenants as well as grey nomads who either do not have a permanent place of residence or are travelling and unable to get home. Parks may also open to workers whose primary residence is not available due to the distance between home and the work site. Under this state government directive, annuals must not be admitted to your park. As per previous advice, the annuals agreement is deliberately drafted to focus on the site occupancy by the dwelling for a 12 month period for holiday purposes only. The principal pays a fee to the caravan park owner to encumber the site for exclusive storage of the dwelling for the year. Irrespective of today’s government announcement, travelling to caravan parks for holiday purposes does not comply with directives to cease non-essential travel. Your park is, therefore, legally entitled to refuse access for non-essential use given the risk to people’s health and government directives.

06.01.2022 Breaking news!! We are excited to announce, as of Monday June 1st 2020 our parks are open to annuals only. All annuals will need to fill out our Covid-19 Guest Declaration form, which we will be emailed to you. We are open on the condition that if you are intending on coming to our parks that you fill out the Covid Declaration form and return it to us before you arrive. This will be a requirement everytime you intend on coming to the parks while government Covid restictions ...remain in place. Social distancing requires that we close every second shower, toilet and basin, therefore due to limited facilities, you will not be able to bring extended family and friends. Whilst at our parks, please maintain social distancing and personal hygiene at all times. Hand sanitizer has been installed beside the toilet block main entry/exit door for your safety. Please feel free to contact Glen or Wayne if you have any questions. See more
