25.01.2022 The recent rain in the past 2 days will most likely raise the dam by about a metre (un educated guess). Please share photos with dam level heights in the interest of boating safely. Current level 10.71 meters from the spillway

25.01.2022 The gauges have corrected themselves at midnight last night 12.97 m to full = 7%

24.01.2022 Lovely rain and a whole 2cm in the dam nothing to speak of in the river catchments as yet

23.01.2022 The level of the dam has receded by at least 30cm in 2 weeks. This is the underwater displacement of a small tinnie. Please survey the area boating before use. We now need 12.05 meters of water to the top of the spillway.

22.01.2022 I am not sure why but bom and Sunwater are showing rises in the dam level and percentage. The level has not changed physically it is the same as 7.7% and 13m from the spillway.

22.01.2022 Careful launching boats the end of the old ramp is soft and has large submerged holes. There is also a falloff at the next spot over for those that need to go in above the knee

21.01.2022 Just dropped under 15%

20.01.2022 A pic from Josh Henry. This is the Nogoa River at Raymond at 6pm so still lots of water to come. Thanks Josh

20.01.2022 With the dam level currently at 10.63% and 12.12 mtrs under the spill way and warmer weather approaching, we need some updates on any hazards if your out boating. Please share your photos and locations of any hazards you might see. Be safe out there!!

20.01.2022 70mm last night total from Christmas rain so far 260mm

19.01.2022 The tide changed today and although there is still water coming in the dam has lost 3cm today. We started at 11.91 from the spillway and got to 10.64 a total of 1.27 meters. Thank you ex Tropical Cyclone Trevor.

18.01.2022 The dam has risen 14cm in 24 hours and a lot more still flowing in

18.01.2022 Well 20mm of water and a total of 90mm in three days is exciting because ______

18.01.2022 Well last week Tuesday I think there was rain very high in the catchment late today maybe even tomorrow theDam will recieve an inflow. Might only be 5cm but it will be something

18.01.2022 In the 24hrs to 6am the dam has risen 41cm

17.01.2022 Dam has come up to 10.80 meters from the spillway. Thats a rise of about 1.8 meters. There is still shallow spots around and a large areas around the island in the middle of the main bay. Stay safe and check the areas you intend to use

17.01.2022 Its now 11 meters of water needed to fill the dam pictures of surfacing hazards would be great

17.01.2022 2 days same reading the island at the 5th boy is just under the water now

17.01.2022 11.93 meters we are now passed the low level from earlier in the year

17.01.2022 Launching options at the dam

16.01.2022 A snapshot of river levels 0820 on the 25 of October. No run off but a 70mm increase in dam level

12.01.2022 11.74 meters to the spillway today earlier this year 11.91so only 15cm to go until we are in uncharted waters. It would be great if nobody found anything but please let us know if you do

12.01.2022 12.94 meters of water to reach the spillway. This is the lowest its ever been and only the people that were around when it was built know whats under the water now. Be sure to check with a sounder before you use an area.

11.01.2022 Current level 1135

11.01.2022 14 cm since yesterday things are looking up

09.01.2022 Rain in the catchment and we just got 20cm from the weekend with some more still flowing in. Its what we like to see

09.01.2022 Yesterdays stick bit more accurate than the gauge atm

08.01.2022 The water level is now at 11.78m to the top of the spillway the below post was found after it reached 12.05. This has is potentially 3.5 feet under the water. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157214636824209&id=611314208

06.01.2022 Same stick new day

06.01.2022 SES are having an exercise on the dam this weekend not a hazards but increased boat traffic

06.01.2022 The measure stick says 950mm rise since Christmas may need a new location as you have to swim now to read it

04.01.2022 Its raining in our catchment. No movement in our rivers or creeks yet.

04.01.2022 A place to share what you find to let everyone know where not to go and be safe as our water continues to receed

01.01.2022 It looks like the tide has changed an the water level has stopped rising at a total of 9.65 from the spillway. That 1.09 meters from this rain event and a total of 2.3 meters from its lowest. There is a tree branch hazard approx 100m north of the still exposed island and the island on the way to Daniels bay will be just under the water
