20.01.2022 Received today from the shire... Hi All, To enable SP Ausnet to replace powerlines across the lake that were damaged by a hang-glider last Thursday, Lake Narracan will be temporarily closed tomorrow (Wednesday 9th January) from 7.30am-4.00pm.... We apologise for the late notice but we were only contacted late yesterday afternoon by SP Ausnet and these works are considered urgent as the current situation poses a health and safety risk. Could I please ask that you distribute this information to any of your members so that they are aware of the situation. We will be placing some signage at the boat ramps to prevent entry onto the lake and SP Ausnet has contacted Moe Police who will also do some patrols. Again, we apologise for the late notice but ask for your understanding in this matter as its vital these works are completed while maintaining safety to the users of the lake.
