18.01.2022 TULLIBIGEAL EMERGENCY LEVEL 5 WATER RESTRICTIONS Lachlan Shire Council advises that EMERGENCY LEVEL 5 WATER RESTRICTIONS are to commence for all residents and rural customers connected to Council’s town water supply in Tullibigeal due to a mains break in the trunk line. The current wet weather has caused accessibility issues and repairs will commence when the mains break location can be accessed. Level 5 Water Restrictions are effective immediately from Monday 22 March 2021... until further notice. Summary of Level 5 Water Restrictions is as below (please see overleaf for full definitions): Residential water use is limited to domestic household usage and garden watering is restricted to only buckets or watering cans on Sundays between 1pm 3pm. Non-residential garden watering is restricted to only buckets or watering cans on Sundays between 1pm 3pm. Non-critical water usages are to cease and water saving measures implemented where possible. Rural customers are advised that watering for stock and irrigation are not permitted. Tullibigeal residents are asked to review their daily water usage and watering habits with a concerted effort to water conservation. Any residents that have a special water need should contact Council immediately on 02 6895 1900 for service arrangements to be made. The situation will be reviewed on Wednesday 24 March 2021. There are a number of easy water saving measures that can be implemented, such as taking shorter showers, leaving the tap turned off while brushing teeth and installing tap timers in the garden. More information on smart water advice can be accessed at https://www.smartwatermark.org/Centroc/ For further information contact Council’s Infrastructure Services Department on 02 6895 1900.
