25.01.2022 This National Volunteers Week, Lions Australia celebrates its superhero volunteers who go above and beyond to help their communities every day. Our members know... the true meaning of giving back, and recent events like the bush fires and the COVID-19 health crisis show us just how much can be achieved by volunteering your time to a service organisation like Lions. Join us in sharing a #WaveforVolunteers as we say a big thank you to our 28,000 Lions, Lionesses and Leos. #NVW2020 Volunteering Australia Pictured (clockwise from top): Lions Australia 2019-20 Council Chairperson Kim Forrest Lions Australia Executive Officer Rob Oerlemans Australian Lions Hearing Dogs CEO David Horne and Wynne Lions Australia Finance and Operations Manager Max Shirley and son Daniel Lions Australia Public Relations Officer Hannah Mills

24.01.2022 It's that time of year when we start to think about Christmas Cakes and Puddings and we now have them available to purchase. So if you would like to buy one of our delicious cakes or a pudding please contact us through this page. Prices are $17 for a 1.5kg cake or $13 for a 1kg cake and $13 for a pudding. Delivery can be arranged for local suburbs such as Wanniassa, Calwell, Monash, Theodore, Gowrie and Greenway and if you live further afield we could see what we can arrange. Also cakes and puddings will be available at our usual Chemist outlets such as Lanyon Chemist - details are being finalised and a list of outlets will be published shortly.

22.01.2022 This morning I could find no better place than ANZAC Park in Campsie where I met with Geoff Evans from Disaster Relief Australia (formally Team Rubicon Australi...a). It was my pleasure to inform Geoff that the motion for their organisation to form a partnership and become a Category B project of Lions MD201 was passed by the delegates at the virtual Adelaide Convention. It is fitting that these two great organisations work together to serve our communities throughout Australia - as always WE SERVE. See more

18.01.2022 Monday night was our first meeting back at the Calwell Club since March. It was our very great pleasure to welcome DG Maxine and PDG Paul for our official DG's visit and we could finally have our Changeover even if it was very low key compared to our usual Changeovers. DG Maxine presented her Cabinet Officers Lions Chris, Mel and Paul with their District pins. Congratulations to Lion Ron on his Barry Palmer award.

17.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the current COVID-19 health crisis we are postponing our Trivia Night which was to be held at the C3 Church in Monash this coming Saturday night. We will be holding it at some stage in the future but given the current conditions and in consultation with C3 Church we feel that the responsible thing to do would be to postpone the function. Information as to when we will be able to hold the Trivia Night will be available when a suitable time comes. Thank you to all those who had booked a table we appreciate your support.
