06.01.2022 Hi everyone An egg has been found on the bank of the lake and social media assume it is a dangerous Croc egg. It is most definitely not. We do have freshwater crocodiles in the lake which are very shy and totally harmless, unless you directly threaten them. Please leave any eggs alone. The one found was most probably a long neck turtle egg. Our wildlife is precious. Please do not destroy it. Thank you

Batchelor police Sargent in charge of the CV-19 managment in the area confirmed rentals at lake bennett to families that live in the same home are allowed to holiday at lake bennett & use the lake. The must not make contact with other residence at the lake & abide by the 1.5m social distancing laws.
