11.01.2022 This Saturday is going to be massive as the Lake Boga Airshow & Splash In gets bigger and better than ever before! At 10am the skies over Lake Boga will roar into life with an airborne spectacle that is sure to get your pulse racing. Aviation history will come to life with the P40E Kittyhawk, CAC Mustang, Grumman Avenger and T-28 Trojan gracing the skies. Paul Bennet will be showcasing one of the highest performance aerobatic biplanes in the world, his beloved yellow Wolf Pit...ts Pro. Locally born Glenn Graham will displaying the agile Rebel 300 aerobatic monoplane and the Paul Bennet Airshows SkyAces will be putting on an aerobatic formation display that has to been seen to be believed! The festival has something for everyone including The Pacific Belles performing live, local market stalls, street food vendors, Seaplanes of all kinds ready to be explored and the renowned Catalina Flying Boat Museum featuring a restored Catalina A24-30. There are plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy too! Adventure and special guest speaker Michael Smith will be talking about his solo circumnavigation the world in his tiny amphibious flying boat named ‘Southern Sun’.
