19.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has supported us during out 4 years here. The motel has been sold and the new owners take over today. I am happy to introduced Allan and Tanya Gale as your new hosts and wish them all the best for the future. As much as we enjoyed our time in Lake Bolac we are looking forward to going back to sunny WA and have an exciting road trip to look forward to.... Take care everyone

15.01.2022 Just an update with the ongoing Covid-19 health crisis. We are still providing accommodation for those working in the area and those travelling where necessary. We are taking steps to clean rooms even more thoroughly to reduce the risk of cross infection. As the Town Hotel has been closed by the Government regulations the only food available in town is via the takeaway which closes at 7pm. The Independent Grocer carries some stock however, please buy only what you need as sto...cks are limited. We can in some cases help out with those that cannot source food as we generally have a bit to spare. Maroona Hotel is also doing take away phone orders Fri-Sat. 10.01.2022 The Dunkeld Races "kick on" party is gearing up for the 18th November. Keep watching this page for more information regarding ticket sales for food and drinks v...ouchers. You will be able to buy tickets singly @ $5 each or a pack of 10 for $50 and get 2 vouchers free. Sausages and rissoles in bread are $5 as is beer. Spirits in a can = 2 vouchers. No cash at the event only vouchers accepted. The entertainment is great value at $20 / head. What a night! Starts at 5pm and ends at midnight! See you there! All that you need to do now is pray to the weather gods for a clear night. See more

10.01.2022 Now the weather is finally improving we have been making the most of it at the lake as much as possible :)

07.01.2022 Hi Everyone, another Covid-19 update. Travel restrictions are easing and overnight stays will be allowed from 1st of June, This means we will be able to welcome those travelling and visiting the area along with the workers that have been in a around over the past few months. While things are going to be far from the normal of the past please be assured we will do our best to ensure those staying have a comfortable and safe stay as we are ensuring each room is deep cleaned aft...er each guest has departed. As the restrictions ease and the town becomes busier we are hopeful that other business will be able to reopen and extend their services. We are still maintaining a supply of fast meals and these have been popular with our workers so you should be able to get something to eat no matter what time you arrive, Please message or call if you have any queries. 03.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Sandy has passed the baton of the Lake Bolac Motel to us Tanya and Allan and we hope to maintain the high standards she has set. With all new endeavours there are problems and Optus is causing us some issues.
