06.01.2022 One by one, Australia is losing waterski sites. On Friday last week, Myuna Bay Sports and Recreation Centre was closed, in the middle of an international junior waterski tournament, with 4 hours notice to evacuate the site. The reason given is that a power station dam wall nearby might give out in a 5.4 Richter earthquake. This has been known about for 2 years, but sudden action occurred on Friday. Not only a premier waterski site in Australia, this camp hosts hundreds of sc...hool children who get to experience outdoor activities. MP Greg Piper has promised to take this to parliament and get some action, or at least try to find the truth. To do so, he needs 10 000 signatures. Please support this fight, print off the petition and get signatures. Signed petitions can be scanned and emailed to [email protected] (he is collecting - an also a reporter on A Current Affair) or posted to Greg Piper MP 92 Victory Parade Totonto NSW 2283 See more

02.01.2022 Looking forward to hosting Austin Abel from America at Lake Centenary on the 17-19th and 22nd and 23rd February. There are a few spots left on the 23rd only, if you are keen to have a swerve with Austin, you won't regret it!! Austin coaches all levels, beginners who have never been on a ski, to high level tournament, whatever you are looking for. And everyone is welcome to come out and have a look :-)
01.01.2022 In answer to the question of the moment- when is the lake closing? The committee have assessed the water situation tonight, and whilst it is receding quickly it is at an acceptable level to ski. The bigger issue is the launching of boats, with many users experiencing difficulty. Therefore, at this stage, it has been decided to leave the lake open for those who can successfully unload and load their boats. That decision will be left to the individual and no responsibility wil...l be taken for anyone experiencing issues with this - in other words, launch at your own risk! As per usual, caution is to be taken when using the water and shallower areas avoided. The water will be closely monitored and further information provided via this page. See more
