They are looking forward to walking down the carpet centrepiece to show off their creations to you. You will also have the opportunity to bid on their Class Art Collaboration. Silent bids can be made throughout the afternoon. The winning bids will be announced from 4:45pm.

09.01.2022 An announcement has been made regarding term 2 schooling. We will begin our online learning on Monday 20th April. School will be open for students of essential workers. These students will complete the same online learning as their stay at home peers. Students will be supervised by a rotation of teachers and teacher aides. This will be revised by our government on the 22 May.

05.01.2022 Welcome back to term 2. Today has been like no other but we are in this together. A couple of things to keep in mind with online learning. 1. Internet is going to be frustrating. It has already crashed this morning due to the high demand. Dont give up, they will get this sorted and we will be back on track. 2. Its okay to NOT be amazing. Dont try to be Pinterest Mom of the Year. Just do what you can. 3. Schools have good days and bad days. You will do the same. Dont swea...t the small things. And finally .....

05.01.2022 Our War memorial garden was completed in time for our planned traditional ANZAC service. Unfortunately due to the present times, it was not used as planned. Next year we will have real poppies growing. History of our Lone Pine - On 6 August 1915 Australia launched its attack at Gallipoli. The ridge, once covered in Aleppo pine, had been cleared to provide cover for the Turks. One pine remained and it became known as Lone Pine Ridge. After the battle, a soldier sent several p...ine cones home to his mother in remembrance of his brother who had died. From one of these cones, two seedlings were raised. One at Inverell where her sons had enlisted and the other at the Australian War Memorial. Seedlings from this tree were given to RSLs to celebrate the centenary of the WW1. Lake Clarendon State School received one of these in April 2015. I believe it is the only surviving tree in this region and destined to grow up to 20 metres tall. We will be proud to continue our ANZAC traditional service in front of it every year. Lest We Forget See more

02.01.2022 The Queensland Government has today announced that an additional five (5) Student Free Days will be in place next week, from Monday 30 March to Friday 3 April inclusive. Term 1 break will start early for students and they will not attend school next week, unless they are children of essential workers eg healthcare, emergency services, education. These students will be provided with supervision only. The student free days have been provided to allow teachers opportunities to p...lan for continuity of learning in the event that the education sector needs to move to flexible and remote learning at the commencement of term 2.
