14.01.2022 Recently the LCCC hosted Richard Kingsford and UNSW when they were conducting the annual aerial survey of Murray-Darling basin wetlands and waterways including Lake Cowal. We also hosted the ABC's Joanna Woodburn and Luke Wong who were covering this story for ABC radio.

09.01.2022 With recent welcome rain, the lake has been filling and the birds have followed. Come and join us on Friday 23rd October at 7:30am for an 8am start, at the Lake Cowal Conservation Centre for the Birds and Bino's bird walk. Bacon and egg roll + lunch are provided. There are some binoculars but you are encouraged to bring your own as well. Cost for the day is $10. RSVP to Mal 0418 370 927 Bland Shire Council
