01.01.2022 Flood update: The water height is slowly dropping and now sits at 8.31m after peaking at 9.01m. The town remains surrounded but everyone is enjoying the wonderf...ul sight. Water upstream and downstream is 40-50km wide in parts and will bring great benefit to all those on the Diamantina.
