16.01.2022 WOW! What an amazing view of the full Channels making their way to Windorah and Cooper Basin! The Channel Country is also preparing for a wonderful tourist sea...son - green grass, rejuvenation of the Cooper and abundance of wildlife! What a way to start ‘The Year of the Outback’! & a welcome relief to our local graziers and stock! Couldn’t ask for a better farewell to a true icon of the Channel Country Sandy ‘Sando’ Kidd! 01.01.2022 Flood update: The water height is slowly dropping and now sits at 8.31m after peaking at 9.01m. The town remains surrounded but everyone is enjoying the wonderf...ul sight. Water upstream and downstream is 40-50km wide in parts and will bring great benefit to all those on the Diamantina. Seeing this from the air is a must if you can do it. taken 27/2/19. #thisisqueensland #outbackqueensland #thediamantina See more
