25.01.2022 We regret to inform our facebook family that our May event has been cancelled, largely based on the state of emergency. With all things considered and the general public health and safety at stake, this has not been taken lightly. If anything changes we will let you know via this page.
24.01.2022 Due to covid19 stage 3 restrictions being reintroduced, the committee has decided lake Goldsmith gates will be locked from Wednesday night entry is only for authorised persons until further notice. After meeting with the relevant authorities the committee has determined that the November rally will be cancelled. Let's start planning our next rally for next year and hope to get some projects done and get them on display.

20.01.2022 With the 25th AGM of Lake Goldsmith Steam Preservation Association held yesterday, due to Covid restrictions the meeting out side in keeping with social distancing. With Ron Jackson and Rod Jones retiring from the commitee two members stepped into their shoes, 22 year old Nathan Woodruff and 21 year old Joshua Franc who are well known younger members of the club and are quite active preservationists. We thank Ron and Rod for their outstanding contribution in their role on the committee. After the past year of Covid and the restrictions that were inforced lets hope that this year will be easier on us all and with the impending May rally coming up we should have a bit of modified normality. The Commitee would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this past unique and history making year.

15.01.2022 The Committee have been in consultation with the Authorities and have made the decision that the Lake Goldsmith Steam Preservation Association Rally Grounds will be in LOCK DOWN as from March 25th 2020 until further notice. Your co-operation in this matter is of extreme importance.
15.01.2022 *IMPORTANT!!!!* As of tomorrow 9th of November 2020 Lake Goldsmith members who access the site can stay there for ONE night only. The usual Covet19 rules apply and must be obeyed whilst onsite also such as the wearing of masks and limits of people in any one shed and social distancing. You still must sign in and out when entering and leaving the site... For those of you that do it is also required that if you use the club toilets and showers that you must clean and disinfect them after each use. All this is a small price to pay but we can now start getting back into our hobby! RECAP One night stays for members only. Sign in and out when entering and leaving site. If using toilets and showers they must be cleaned and disinfected by the person who uses them. Facemasks must be worn. Social distancing and limits to people in sheds. Any questions can be directed to the committee but please respect that they are doing a astronomical job from home trying to keep our hobby moving and keeping up with all the rules that have appeared this year. It is a shame that we cant have an essential hobby but the shackles are finally loosening. The Committee would like to thank all members for your patience and understanding during this very unique and trying year, it has been very tough and emotionally trying for everyone of us but hopefully as we progress towards the end of the year more things will open up and we might get more freedom! THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!

Just had to steam the sentinel up to pull the roller out of the shed. See more
