25.01.2022 How to release a Murray Cod without stressing them. When they are just under the water they will lay there and then cut the line the hook will dissolve in a few days.

21.01.2022 On the Murray River, doing a Murray Cod tour which produced this nice keeper at 740mm, yes poeple do still eat them and that is okay because people pay money to catch them and is totally legal to do so.

18.01.2022 On the Murrumbidgee River yesterday, water is still high and muddy. The end result 3 small Murray Cod (put back due to being out of season) and this yellow belly (630mm) and Luke King on the fishing tour with his personal best yella and also his first ever Cod. 17.01.2022 The yellas are still on the run 4 on this fishing tour. The next Victorian boat license is the 19th in Wodonga. The next N.S.W boat license with practical on the 20th in Albury. The paddle boats are operating from 1 to 5pm Saturday and Sunday

16.01.2022 Hi to all on the 22nd I posted a photo of a eel trail catfish a missing legend I call this after one of the comments quote I have heard story's but never seen one, they are a native yet the DPI have missed them on their restocking program. So I want to get peoples attention and start them talking hence the post on the 1st ( if you look at photos down my page you will see the right way to handle cod ). On the 5th I posted some ways of handling as well and all to show how things have changed. The biggest change is that the LEGENDARY CATFISH is missing form our water ways so the whole idea behind all of this was to get support for the restocking. If you are interested please let me know. Final sorry if the shock of the post on the 1st upset you however it got a lot of attention, l hope the restocking of the catfish will get more. Thanks

16.01.2022 The Red Fin fishing tour on the Barbeque boat has produced around 40 to 50 fish over the Easter break and the cost of $50 per person including breakfast for 4 to 5 hours fishing is great value. We have just added this to our other tours which include targeting Yellow belly, Cod and Trout in the Murray and Murrumbidgee rivers and surrounding dams. 13.01.2022 Today it was a day to remember, I'm one of 4 boys with 9 in the family how had father who loved fishing. We caught a lot of fish and before the Carp were around a lot of CATFISH, however I have not seen one for over 20 years. So when this one came in, it took me back, less hope their on the way back

12.01.2022 Out again on the weekend on the BarBQ $50/ person fishing tour with around 60 caught for the morning double hook ups and the biggest around 40cm.

12.01.2022 We would like to thank all our customers and people that have supported our local hire business and more recently our move into NSW boat licensing. Our feedback has been really positive and we are pleased to be able to offer both the theory and practical all completed in the one day. I have also been asked about my qualifications, and I can let you all know that I do have my cert 4 in TAE and gave been teaching for many years. My boating experience has expanded to now include my inland coxswain, cert 1&2 coastal coxswain and coastguard coxswain. We still have a few more NSW courses coming up before Christmas Deniliquin 14 Dec; Albury 20 Dec. There is also a Vic course on 19 Dec. However as we are local we can do your NSW licence training at any time Cheers Rob

07.01.2022 Last week on the 1st DEC cod opening I put up some photos from the past, around 15 years ago or more to highlight BAD handling practices, no one looked after the fish back then not even sure there was a size limit. Today I have removed them and replaced them with this video. Things have changed so have a look and ask yourself do we even need to take them out of the water, if we do support them the right way. Thanks for the feedback it is good to see how people care about our fish

06.01.2022 This 620mm is one of the yellow belly we caught on tours this past week 4 yellas in total all good sizes and around 20 reddies to go with them this weekend tours already filled next available 19/20 Nov

06.01.2022 Even though its winter this mystical looking lake still produced some reddies a few small and one at 38 on a four hr charter today and has me thinking . . is it the fishing, the view or just being on the water???
