The Lake Inn Ballarat combines modern and traditional motel accommodation with 28 rooms on 2 levels. It has a perfect location quiet but central, across the road from the City Oval, 150m from beautiful Lake Wendouree and a short walk to Sturt St, the heart of Ballarat. The Lake Inn Ballarat offers extra spacious rooms that include unlimited wi-fi ...powered by the superfast NBN at no extra cost. The Motel has won various awards for International Excellence in Quality and Standards. Currently our managers have 5 days per month and 4 weeks annual leave. Duties of this position include but is not limited to: 1. Attending to booking enquiries in Reception and phone 2. Staff management 3. Accounts management including accurate billing and Debtor management 4. Ensure the rooms are kept to a high standard and general maintenance 5. Breakfast cooking as ordered by Guests 6. An understanding of RMS 7. Experience with OTA’s 8. Sheets are sent out, but towels, pillowcases and other laundry washing is required 9. Reports as required by the Owner It is expected that both persons will be involved in the daily running of the motel equally in terms of duties and responsibilities. 15.01.2022 Sovereign Hill is reopening!!!! Are you ready for colour and movement to return to Sovereign Hill? We can’t wait to have you back! We have exciting new ticket prices and our online bookings are now open. Sovereign Hill will begin re-opening to visitors from regional Victoria on Saturday 31 October with new ticket prices and a range of hygiene and social distancing measures in place. To mark the re-opening, Sovereign Hill will open for four consecutive days over the Melbour...ne Cup weekend, from Saturday 31 October to Tuesday 3 November, before moving back to weekend trading only from Saturday 7 November. To welcome visitors back, adult tickets will be available at $39, children’s tickets at $20 and a family of four, five or six at $99. Tickets must be pre-purchased online and are now on sale from 12pm Wednesday 14 October. Much loved activities such as the troopers and red coats, panning for gold in the diggings, and coach rides, will all be available, but with some changes. The streets will be brought to life with characters in costume. Some experiences will not be available due to government restrictions, such as mine tours and the gold pour demonstration. 13.01.2022 Wow Winter has arrived already. We have new fluffy grey blankets on our queen and king beds this winter and we are getting lots of complements about how nice they are to sleep under. They are in all rooms now so book now and see what you think. Our mini bars have been revamped and some prices have changed. Our chocolate bars are now only $2.00 each.... We now stock a local beer called Red Duck. Red Duck is a small craft brewery located in Ballarat and has been making quality craft beers since 2005.
