22.01.2022 We are thrilled to have learned that the Lake Macquarie Boomerang Bags group were successful in being awarded a $1000 grant through the Stockland CARE Grant program. Thank you to Stockland Glendale - these funds will be able to purchase much needed equipment for the group!

08.01.2022 DONATE YOUR TIME I'm offering my shop space as a hub to make items for our injured wild life. If you have some spare time next, Tuesday, Wednesday or Th...ursday (27th-29th Nov) between 10am- 2pm, come in and get busy. I'll have 2 sewing machine available, fabric, scissors ect. I'll also have a bunch of donated yarn for crochet nests, just bring along a hook. I'm asking for a gold coin donation, which will be used to help me fund courier and postage fees for the already donated item I have received. Tea and coffee provided as well as all supplies and patterns. Don't have time or not crafty ? You can still help by donating materials, we can use... Old 100% cotton sheet, and flannelette sheets. 100% 8ply wool for knitted and crocheted pouches. Acrylic yarn for round birds nests. Soft 100% cotton scrap fabrics Sewing thread and poly stuffing. 06.01.2022 What a great day! Thanks to all of the Boomerang Bag volunteers for your time spent setting and packing up, running the stall, sewing bags and getting the word out about our group. We sold over 90 bags and are looking forward to talking about what we can do with the funds raised at the October sewing bee.
