The cost of the package... is now $140, which entitles a potential new match official to: Level 4 Referee Course (online or classroom environment) Laws of the game book Whistle Flag Set of red and yellow cards Notebook Referee Shirt (black) Referee Shorts (black) Referee Socks (black) NNSWF component of the match official registration fee for the first season of officiating $140 fee excludes the member zone component of the match official registration fee, or any fees payable in order for the new match official to become a member of a referee branch. No Macquarie Football registration fee for first years. Persons must be 13 years of age in order to become a match offiical. 22.01.2022 Dear players and parents, A massive thank you to all who have volunteered your services for a 2020 return to football. Your dedication and commitment to this club has not gone unnoticed, it was very refreshing to see how many of you answered the call to action for our kids to play. After an intense few weeks of making sure our club could return to training, by using feedback from players coupled with the number of volunteers required and yearly cost to run a competition LMFC... is very sad to announce it can not run a 2020 football season. Having gathered all the information and help available LMFC could not ensure the health and safety of our members and guests, which is our greatest concern for 2020. LMFC is committed to you our members and will still be looking to hold some fun days and events throughout 2020 as restriction levels allow PLEASE KEEP AN EYE on our Facebook page and emails for dates and events. For those that have paid their registration this year there are 2 options: (1) Credit towards your registration in 2021 (excluding kids active voucher) Please email us: [email protected] with the registered players name. (2) Full refund (excluding kids active voucher) GO TO THE PLAYFOOTBALL WEBSITE AND DEREGISTER, (see detailed instructions on how to deregister in the seperate post above.) 20.01.2022 COVID UPDATE - NO TRAINING YET

19.01.2022 As you are aware 2020 has been a difficult year for us all, especially with the COVID-19 issue. However, moving forward to 2021 Lake Macquarie Football Club will be participating in the local Macquarie/Interdistrict Competitions. Due to this and for the future of our Club, we need to have a Committee elected to continue the long and proud tradition of Lake Macquarie Football Club. We also need support from our members so, our 2020 Annual General Meeting will be held:- Date: ... Tuesday 1st December Time: 6.00pm Venue: Boolaroo Sports Club (next to Tredinnick Oval) While we would like to see as many people as possible there, however with COVID restrictions on venues, can you please RSVP by email to: [email protected] so that we can keep track of the number of people attending. The community needs sporting organisations such as us to help within the local community, however the Club can only continue with the help of Volunteers. As some of you are under the age of 18 we strongly encourage your parents to come along and help be part of this great Club.

09.01.2022 TRAINING FIELDS ARE STILL CLOSED Although NNSWF and Macquarie Football have released the Return to Training Guidelines and said training can commence from Wednesday 27 May 2020. Lake Macquarie City Council are currently reviewing these guidelines and will then issue their own risk assessment. When that is completed and both Macquarie Football and LMCC agree only then can training resume (under the guidelines). Please keep checking Facebook and when LMCC open the fields we will let you know, until that time please NO training at Tredinnick Oval.

05.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL MEMBERS OF LMFC UPDATE OF INFORMATION FOR TRAINING UNDER CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS AT LMFC Please read and make sure you are aware and understand the procedures that need to be followed before training can commence. Anyone who is prepared to volunteer throughout the week please email us at [email protected] or message us your details here BEFORE MONDAY 8TH JUNE. We have also asked your coaches and managers to get in t...ouch with you to confirm your interest. A decision will be made on TUESDAY whether the club continues with the 2020 season, depending on the number of volunteer offers we receive. If parents are not willing to commit to volunteer the season cannot go ahead. Due to the current health environment we understand that some people are apprehensive or have pre-existing health issues and don’t want to put themselves at risk. The Club totally understands and accepts this. We also don’t expect the small number of people on the Committee to be the ones doing all the work to ensure your child plays. UNDER THE RESTRICTIONS THE FOLLOWING APPLIES: Only 1 parent or carer to attend per child. No spectators, no permanent seating to be used, parent to remain in car. No socialising before or after training. You must leave immediately when finished. Canteen and change rooms to remain closed. All players to bring sanitiser for use before and after training. Bring your own water. If feeling unwell or exposed to someone unwell you must not attend. Maximum of 10 per group including the coach field per group of 10. Passing drills and running only. No games or close contact. Volunteers required to maintain attendance records. Volunteers to constantly clean toilets. Volunteers to police 1.5 metre social distancing requirements. 03.01.2022 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Lake Macquarie FC are looking for players interested in participating in a one off Futsal Gala Day this August. Players are needed for age groups from Under 7's through to Under 12's. Each team will take part in a round robin event consisting of 4 games. The gala day will be split between 3 seperate Sundays with 2 age groups playing on each day. Cost $30 per player. 01.01.2022 REGISTRATION REFUNDS Thank you to everyone who has completed their online requests for deregistration via the Playfootball website. You should have received your confirmation email from Macquarie Association, if not, we encourage you to get in contact with Playfootball via their helpline on 02 88807983. Macquarie Association has also been processing these requests on their end rather quickly to allow players to re-register elsewhere for the season. We understand that everyone is waiting for their refunds to be deposited into their accounts, but we ask for your patience, Lake Macquarie Football Club is yet to receive the refunds from the associated parties in order for us to pass this on. We will endeavour to have this process completed as soon as possible.
