14.01.2022 Yes we are Open for business! Currently we are open and operating as per normal, however we are monitoring the situation closely given the current COVID-19 situation; obviously it can change rapidly. Given that safety of our customers and the general community is a primary concern we will continue and monitor and act in accordance with recommendations from health.nsw.gov.au.... We appreciate your support and together we will get through these troubling times. Our standard hygiene practices have always been focussed on ensuring cleanliness of our equipment and safety of all our clients who hire kayaks and SUPs from us. Given that COVID-19 can be transmitted by surface contact, as well as via coughing, sneezing etc, we have increased the cleaning of our equipment after each use to reduce the risk of transmission. We ask our clients to assist in this process by adhering to these hygiene practices: If you are sick, exhibiting any signs of illness please stay at home and save your paddle for another day. Wash your hands regularly. Avoid large group bookings with friends at this stage and practice appropriate distancing in accordance with the current recommendations. These factors alone will assist in reducing the risk, and we are confident that you can still enjoy a paddle on the lake as an activity to get out of the house while avoiding the masses. As stated we are monitoring recommendations from authorities and will continue to do so. We appreciate that what is going on is going to impact all of us in a myriad of ways. If you have concerns or questions please get in touch with us. Our goal is to continue to provide a safe and enjoyable activity option in Lake Macquarie. We appreciate your support and patience throughout these troubling times and encourage you to support small businesses around your area where possible.
