23.01.2022 APPRECIATION POST Thank-you so much to one of our members for spending their arvo out mowing the grounds today after all the rain we’ve had this week AND WOW what a difference it makes. We have some awesome members who take turns mowing, slashing & wipper snipping the grounds as regularly as their schedules permit. We even have a group of young blokes who volunteer & regularly empty the bins for the association. All these things really help so much!!! These contributions make the committee’s job so much easier. I hope the public & other members using the grounds really appreciate & can respect how much the committee and its members actually spend volunteering their own time to keep the grounds useable.

23.01.2022 The Lake Recreation Association kindly ask community members to please avoid driving in the black soil car park at the gate entrance. As you can clearly see the road is already badly damaged and eroded without people 4WDing and mud larking. The committee is in the process of working with the appropriate parties to have this access road and car park area repaired, however if people keep damaging it further it will make the job harder and more costly. So please, respect community organisations and the hard work they do by respecting community grounds. Thank you kindly

23.01.2022 47mm Friday night - Sunday morning 14mm Sunday morning - Monday morning 64mm Monday morning - Tuesday morning Total of 125mm in three days and it’s still raining. We’re also extremely pleased to say we are pumping into Lake Neverfill for the first time in just over a year & we will keep pumping whilst the Bungil Creek continues to flow & the levels stay up. With the expected water flowing into the bungil from up north, we are praying that it keeps the levels up for a few da...ys. We started pumping last night and will keep you up to date with levels as it continues to fill. See more

22.01.2022 2:45pm | Sunday 23 February 2020 Pump is still going strong, Bungil Creek is still flowing and rain is still falling from the sky. The water has risen two foot closer to the boat ramp in just a few hours.

With a sunny day with some clouds expected today, this will be a good chance to let the ground recover somewhat before the next lot of rain, which is expected tomorrow. Oh and the sounds of wildlife out there are simply beautiful: frogs, birds of all kinds, including ducks and so many others. 17.01.2022 Can I please remind everyone that we’ve just had over 150mm of rain, so please ONLY drive on the gravelled area, not the unsealed black soil car park. We will now have to have it all regraded when it’s dry. We’re more than happy for people to be out there as it’s very exciting to have water flowing, however please use some common sense. Thanks

16.01.2022 We have had a few enquires in regards to membership and access to the lake now that it is filling up. Please note, the use of Kayaks and Canoes are free on the lake. You can however support the club with a $50 social membership (no key). We do offer a pro-rata membership rate of $125 to join this time of the year for water vessels, such as jet skis and boats, which is the key access. 10.01.2022 6:00PM | Tuesday 25 February 2020 We have turned the pump off as the Bungil Creek Levels continue to drop. Some beautiful Aerial Drone shots taken whilst out checking levels at the Lake this afternoon. 2 1/2 days of pumping & thanks to the lovely rain weve recently received, the levels are up in the Lake and the scenery is just simply spectacular. Once the ground has dried out a little, we will have the grass slashed and hopefully the Lake Neverfill Access Road will be g...raded for safer access. 04.01.2022 6:30am | Monday 24 February 2020 Still pumping and the water is flowing in nicely. Water level is just up the boat ramp. We will monitor throughout the day & keep everyone updated. So exciting to see water in the lake. Oh glorious rain.

03.01.2022 The pump is going strong... The Bungil Creek is flowing and lapping at the bottom of the bridge and the rain is still bucketing down. A few days like this and well have a full lake for the first time since November 2017.
