24.01.2022 Warning to all boaters departing Lakes Entrance their are heaps of Whales offshore and this morning we hit one before daylight it was something i never want to ...happen again, it was terrifying but was unavoidable at the time as i did not see it,we turned around and made sure it was OK also so reported to Fisheries and wild life no damage to Far Out only a scuff mark on the hull and all passengers OK. Just for the record we are now endorsed by ASMA for crossing the bar before daylight hours.Take care out their.Cheers Tony See more
