24.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder that Lakes Entrance Market is a Tier 3 COVID Safe event registered with DHHS. Saturday Jan 23rd 12:00noon until 9:30pm Sunday Jan 24th 12:00noon until 8:00pm... Signage around the markets will be in place to remind attendees on the market requirements to ensure a safe event is run. Interested attendees are asked to do check themselves for any signs of COVID prior to leaving home and not attend if they are unwell or have been instructed to isolate or quarantine. At least 1.5m physical distance should be maintained between attendees and where social distancing cannot be maintained face masks must be worn. 24.01.2022 NYE Fireworks postponed. We are all very disappointed that we could not go ahead (due to covid) with our planned fireworks for New Years Eve, However we plan to do an event in January, Stay tuned.

22.01.2022 Supermarket shelves may be looking a little bare, but rest assured that there’s plenty of milk to go around. It’s business as usual for our jersey girls. Austr...alia grows enough food to feed 75 million people - just in Gippsland alone, dairy farmers produce over 1 billion litres of milk per year! As the COVID-19 outbreak worsens we are getting on with the job of ensuring that milk remains on the shelf and are working with our supply chin to ensure that we have things in place to keep the wheels turning over. 12.01.2022 PLEASE HELP Earlier this year, after the impact of bushfire in our region, lots of producers and businesses found themselves in a position where we had to thin...k differently and find new ways to do business. One of the beautiful things to fall out of the bushfires was the comradery and collaboration between Forge Creek Free Range Seasalt Bakery and Tambo Valley Honey. A collaboration box was created right in the middle of bushfires (it was the brainchild of Seasalt Bakery ), where generous people all over Australia (and the world!) that were desperate to support/help/donate to people affected by bushfire could do something really personal and meaningful. The produce box was purchased (paying us each for cost of goods) then were delivered all over East Gippsland to families that needed some love and kindness. It was epic and we’ll never forget how it made us all feel! Working together in tough times is key to survival and the bond and friendship we formed is incredible. Which leads us to this ...
