19.01.2022 This week it was great to see almost 200 parents, grandparents, family and friends as well as teachers and school principals, and of course Rotarians, attend our annual Presentation Night for the Rotary Junior Community Awards. The Awards were presented to 44 students from Swan Reach, Metung, Nungurner, Lakes Entrance, St Brendan's and Toorloo Arm Primary Schools. A great night and congratulations to all the award winners who have done a great job in getting to know their community and contributing to it. Thanks also to the the Lakes Entrance Lions and Lionesses who prepared and served a delicious two course meal - a great community event!

15.01.2022 Well, the Melbourne Cup Eve spectacular was truly SPECTACULAR! We hosted a sell-out crowd with over 120 guests who enjoyed dinner, entertainment and the opportunity to win lots of prizes. Final figures are still being tallied, but it is true to say our efforts exceeded expectations and, of course, all profits will be distributed to the many worthy causes our Club supports, including Tabitha, Centenary House, the Surf Life Saving Club and many others. Thanks to the organising committee, the clubs major sponsors and all the businesses, organisations and individuals who donated goods and services to help with the actual fundraising and to those Rotarians and the many guests who attended the event we are grateful for your support of our worthy causes and we are sure you all had lots of fun.
