13.01.2022 Hygiene and fertility A healthy smile is always more attractive, but it can also protect fertility in men and women. Studies have shown that poor dental hygiene can negatively affect fertility due to the increased risk of gum disease and tooth decay. Both are bacterial infections that can soon develop if you fail to brush and floss frequently and if you do not have regular dental check-ups and hygiene appointments.

13.01.2022 IS IT TIME FOR YOUR REGULAR DENTAL CHECKUP? Most people need to see a dentist at regular six-monthly intervals and it’s important to stick to this routine even if your teeth seem perfectly healthy. These regular checkups allow us to detect any problems at a much earlier stage, when treatment will be quicker, less invasive and more cost-effective. This preventative approach towards your dental care helps to preserve your natural teeth and your smile. https://www.lakesidedentalspa.com.au/is-it-time-for-your-r/

01.01.2022 What Are Dentures? Dentures are a tried and tested way to restore missing teeth. Full dentures replace entire arches of teeth. A partial denture replaces one or more teeth missing in the same arch, but which don’t need to be side by side. A denture consists of an acrylic gum-colored base that rests on the gums and supports denture teeth. Partial dentures are frequently strengthened with the addition of a lightweight cobalt chrome alloy framework, and they often have clasps that fit around existing teeth, helping to hold the denture more securely in place.
