25.01.2022 Well the weather is a bit dreary... Buchan Caves is a good rainy day program, in fact the caves are prettier inside when its raining in our opinion. If you need a hand where to go, what to eat, anything at all.....just ask :-)

24.01.2022 Behind the scenes here at Lakeside.... Thanks to Lakes Commercial Laundry, we have crisp white commercial grade linen ready to go. We triple sheet the beds, which means that everything our guests come in contact with is freshly laundered high quality linen.... Not a bedspread to be seen, everything white and fresh!

We are very proud to handover a brand that you have all helped us to grow with all your support, and we thank you for choosing Lakeside as your destination while in Lakes Entrance. We warmly welcome the new owners on board, and know they will have great success. Having people living onsite will give Lakeside a whole new dimension, and allow guests to have that face to face contact during their stay. It's been quite a journey to get to this point, and it's time to thank everyone who supported us, and those who have been very kind to us along the way. Our wonderful guests, the many local contractors, and lots of local businesses....... We thank you all, appreciate your continued help and hard work, and note your willingness to support us. We leave with a lot of wisdom, a lot of gratitude, and many memories we will talk about for a long time. As always, we couldn't get through busy periods like school holidays without the help of local businesses who support us. We recently took our car across on the ferry and drove to a location recommended by the ferry operator. ... We went for a walk and saw about 10 koalas in the gum trees, it was lovely seeing them in their natural environment. A great place for tourists to see some native Australian animals Enjoy...

Please note the restaurants here don't keep city hours so it's good to grab a bite early, and the local woolworths shuts at 10pm.
