25.01.2022 All train runs until May 21 will be cancelled due to Covid 19 virus regulations. No party bookings will be accepted for that period. This decision will be reviewed at the next Club meeting on 21 May in light of the situation at that time. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone once it is safe to do so, in the meantime please keep safe and remember to be kind!

24.01.2022 A day at the trains! Yesterday we spent the day down the Clare Valley Model Engineers Inc. park & train rides. Kids rode the trains multiple times, there’s bb...q facilities and the wetlands walks nearby as well. There’s even a small canteen, with old school tuck shop prices! A must visit when you’re in Clare!

24.01.2022 Exciting news! The Clare Valley Model Engineers Inc. are planning on bringing one of their steam locomotives to our birthday party this Sunday**! This is a rare... opportunity to travel behind a real steam locomotive in miniature form right here on the Copper Coast! Trains will be operating this Sunday 17th March from 10 - 3, $2 per person, under 5 free, closed in shoes required. Sausage sizzle available! **Please note: due the the unpredictable nature of operating steam (mechanically and with the fire risk), CCROME reserves the right to cancel the steam locomotive’s participation at any time.

24.01.2022 Clare Valley Model Engineers donated $1818 to Clare RFDS Support Group today. This was the proceeds from the rides we gave at the Spring Art and Garden Fair on the long weekend. We couldn't have done it without you - thanks everyone!

23.01.2022 The Clare District Fundraiser Bushfire Appeal is being run by CVME, Rotary, Lions and Apex with donations from local vendors to help support the whole South Australia community. The proceeds will go to a special SA Government fund set up to do this. There will be train rides, a bouncy castle, stalls, food, wine, beer, etc and 3 raffles which will be picked on the night.
