24.01.2022 16-2s Team Briefing Well, that's a wrap for 2020. A year many of us will not forget. Our team briefings were held today with all our teams getting a little time(1 hour) in the spotlight. To our special guests- Lakes United Juniors Patrons-Sue and Chris Paul, Lakes United Secretary-Grant Thompson-Laing, Lakes United First Grade Coach-Robbie Payne... Paul and Ruth Jefferies. Lakes United Life Member, Club Treasurer, long time Committee man, former player, Lakes United Old Boys member and mate was farewelle...d today at Pettigrews chapel Belmont. Allan was our club treasurer during the golden era with our 74/75 premiership wins. Sincere condolences to his wife June Children David,Peter, Lisa ,John and there families. As mentioned at today’s service Alan was known for short ams long pockets which made him the Perfect Man for the club treasurer’s position. However Alan went out with a shout as the pics below will show!! RIP Al

I would like to thank you and your team for coming last night to lakes juniors major fundraiser for the year. I mentioned last night the amount you all raised was $8137.00. If we don't have the best supporters anywhere I give up. The support you all gave to lakes juniors last night was unreal. Please pass onto all your team members the thanks from the committee and the players for your generosity last night. Doug. The happy treasurer.

02.01.2022 Introducing our club captains for 2021. This year was a difficult one as we had 6 quality candidates to choose from. After interviewing all the candidates and 1 1/2 discussion, Craig, Doug, and I made a decision. Congratulations to Aiden Hunt and Beau Watson.
