25.01.2022 Well done to our Lakes swimmers that competed today at 2020 Logan Vikings Preparation Meet. Special mention to Rohnan Yorke for his 1st gold medal , Kasey Guthrie for collecting 5 medals in his 5 events(1,4) AJ Bhangra for 4 PBs in 4 events, Zach Mason for -28.61 off his 200 freestyle! The list goes on! So many great swimming times and medals today, you have all done Lakes proud. ... 5 Swimmers 21 Events entered 13 PB's recorded 10 medals CONGRATULATIONS to our swimmers. Thank you to their coach Paul for training, supporting and nurturing these champs who continue to grow as champion swimmers.

Based on standards set at this years World Junior Swimming Championships, each time has been comprehensively reviewed and assessed as part of the revamped Bio Island Australian JX program. 22.01.2022 UPCOMING SWIM MEET - Sunnybank Junior transition meet (6-12yrs) 29th November 2020 - entries close 22nd November. Lakes Junior swimmers are invited to participate in the Sunnybank Junior SC Transition Meet for 6-12 Years on Sunday 29 November. This is a wonderful opportunity for beginners to compete over a shorter distance and a chance for swimmers who can’t yet compete at States to record some additional times.... The meet flyer is located at the following link: https://brisbane.swimming.org.au/pageitem.aspx Please note the restriction of swimmers to a maximum of 5 events, and the requirements for adults to be able to attend. Entries are to be made through Swim Central, and currently close on Sunday November 22. This meet is limited to a 4 hour time period so once nominations reach that time frame, entries will be closed. We are delighted with your enthusiasm and we thankyou for supporting local events and all club swimmers. Thank you to Woogaroo, Railways and Boonah swim clubs for making our day so successful. 21.01.2022 Well we have started 2020 with a bang! Well done to our club swimmers that competed recently at Commercial short course and Rackley Parkinson sprints. Commercial Short Course 3 swimmers 13 events entered 10 personal best times recorded... CONGRATULATIONS to Rohnan Yorke for cracking that elusive 30sec barrier in 50 metre Free. Rohnan clocked in at 29.78 and also took home 2nd overall 13yrs age Champion. Well done Rohnan. Rackley Parkinson Sprint 9 Swimmers 32 Events 20 PB's 4 Medals CONGRATULATIONS to all our swimmers you have done us so very proud Thank you to their coach Paul for his encouragement and ongoing support for our swimmers. Angeline, Caeleigh, Charlotte, Kasey, Rohnan and Zach collectively powered through 21 Events producing 8 PB's with 1 Top 10 swim for 50 fly - congratulations to Kasey! You were focused, determined and so supportive of each other exactly what a winning team needs to be! We are all very proud of the way in which you conducted yourselves over the weekend.
