20.01.2022 Another update for you all- James Smith, President of the Merimbula Chamber of Commerce, meeting with Colin Dunn and Daryl Dobson of BOAT to discuss the latest developments of the Lake St Walkway/cycleway project.

12.01.2022 Bega Valley Council staff meeting on Thursday with BOAT personnel to update them about progress. Tenders are to be called over the next few months and work should begin in the next financial year. All done by December - hopefully.. The path will go along the road to Bar Beach creating a safe path for everyone to enjoy

07.01.2022 The BOAT dudes met today (Wednesday 16th) with Daniel Djikic of the Bega Valley Shire Council to have some preliminary discussions about the Lake St Combined access path. The State government recently announced a grant of $2million toward the project and our Council will be managing the project. Left to tight are: Colin Dunn, Daryl Dobson, Daniel Djikic, Steve Goodchild and Ron Finneran. Absent through illness was Bruce Eaton.
