20.01.2022 Phones - Yes or No??? Curious how to how you all feel about this request from the couple at their wedding? I know when I got married 7 years ago, it wasn't a big thing BUT a guest did record our wedding vows, took a lot of photos and then posted it to Facebook during our reception. ... I didn't know until the day after, and I was SHOOK (quoted from @matthewlanders) I would have liked to have been asked if it was ok first, before they posted it. It was only after it happened, I realised that I needed to say something before our ceremony started, because it turned out we both were not ok with having our wedding all over Facebook. So ... If you're a couple getting married and it is important to you that no phones are to be used, then have your celebrant say this at the beginning of your ceremony and a sign like this also helps. 13.01.2022 Lets talk about FONTS When I say fonts ... I mean the writing style you see on this invite. The fonts used, especially for the couples names featured at the top is what this design is all about. There is no other graphics on the design to support it, so its super important these fonts are right. ... FONTS are theyre own complicated beast. You may love this font weve used but it may look in your name. For example ... letters like J can often look like an I and you like - What! thats not mine name. So ... how do we solve this issue??? We do what we call a FoNT TeSTeR We will select a number of fonts that we feel fits the vibe of what you want and then present them to you in your names to see and choose from. From this we then set the rest of your stationery. I could write an essay on FONTS but I wont bore you on a Sunday #fontaddict @laladesignperth

Coronavirus really threw a spanner in the works for us but the team at Lala Design couldn't have been more accommodating. ... You can tell they really care about each of their clients and want to provide the best experience possible. The end result far surpassed anything I could possibly have expected! The team kept me really involved in the whole design process so in the end I felt like I was a part of the finished result, which meant a lot to me. I will definitely continue to use Lala design for future invites and stationery. Although there are cheaper quotes out there with bigger businesses it is well worth spending that little bit extra to make the whole experience something special in itself. What a great idea I mean its nice to get pretty gifts but we all know what a luxury it would be to have someone come and clean your home, especially the way @pristinehousekeepers do it. ... Becky wanted the gift vouchers to really feel like a proper gift. Not just a printed piece of copy paper, shoved into an envelope or a email generated voucher. When I look back at our wedding video, all I see is a ugly piece of A4 printed white paper that our celebrant printed for us. I also didnt have a keepsake of our vows. ...
