21.01.2022 2020 GOALS I know Covid threw all our plans and goals out the window, and we had to write ourselves a new set of plans and goals, or we let them go completely and just survived. Some of my 2020 new goals were... ... 1 - To keep my hubby safe and well. He had just gone back to work after having heart surgery. 2 - Learn and master Xero (it sucked, but I did do it) 3 - Keep my team together. I can't imagine my business without Kellie and Anna working next to me, and now we have 2 more Lala girls. (Courtney & Steph) 4 - Give my house a massive spring clean. Now I thought I would do this myself, but that didn't happen. So I called in the professional @pristinehousekeepers Even better! 5 - Still on the list to do, and I have 4 weeks to make it happen, is build a website and lead generator for Lala For Business. Let's see if I make it!!! What goal did you set and reach for 2020??? See more

11.01.2022 Who says you can connect with real people on Instagram??? Stephen @thatpenbloke and I have been chatting on insta for a while now. I’m totally fascinated by how he can handcraft pens out of anything. I’ve also been admiring his effort to connect with people on Instagram. When you show your authentic self, you attract the same kind of people back. ... Today I received the most gorgeous surprise! Stephen himself delivered this incredible and thoughtful pen/ pencil set he custom made me for my new business @lalaforbusiness If you watch my stories today, you will hear how blown away I am by it all. I’ve been lusting after one for so long but haven’t been able to decide what I wanted. Thank you so much Stephen for the most perfect and thoughtful gift I LOVE IT!!!

06.01.2022 CLIENT GIFTS End of year client gifts for Christmas always cause a mass panic of "Oh shit" what do we give them, how much do we spend, mixed in with leaving it all to the last minute. NOW is the week you need to think of it. ... Here is my top 3 tips: 1 A good gift is for them NOT you! Giving your client a company branded gift is a cop out. It is you promoting yourself, not saying thank you to your client for their business and support. My go to - our the little things they like. Think does your client have a love for a certain type of food, wine or a hobby. I'm not talking expensive gift, but a box filled with their favourite Tim tams would do the trick. A coffee voucher to their morning coffee place. A book they would enjoy reading. 2 Include a card and hand write it. If you can't afford a gift, at least take the time to write and send a card to say thank you and we can't wait to work with you in 2021. PS - If you can buy a local made card - bonus points to you. 3 Presentation is EVERYTHING! You can take 6 packets of Tim Tams and wrap them in a box, with a ribbon, thread a few Christmas baubles on top, included a handwritten card and I guarantee your clients will see the effort and care, just from the presentation. Compared to if you chucked them into a gift bag from the servo. WHY should I bother Lala??? Why, because you need to appreciate and nuture your existing clients. No matter how much they spend with you. If they only have $50 a month to spend with you, and they chose to spend it with you. That is a LOYAL client. And we all know a little show of appreciation goes a very long way. Stuck for ideas, presentation - Comment here to get ideas OR if your a small Perth biz that has something to offer, HOLLA out what you're offering. See more

03.01.2022 Hello 2021 Its taken me all day to think about what to say. The overall vibe of 2020 is that it was the worst year EVER!!! I made a promise when I started this page / biz to always be honest and authentic. So I can’t say it was the worst year EVER for me personally. ... Personally it had been a RIPPER of year for me. I’ve really struggled to say that out loud. Because I know that this is not the case for most people and I feel the guilt of saying I’ve done well in 2020. BUT ... you know what? I have worked harder than I ever have EVER and I deserve my success. It’s not luck, it’s hard work, commitment and consistency. So if you’re like me... and feel the same way, I want you to fucking shout it out and celebrate it. NOW lovelies ... look forward to where your going NOT where you’ve been. I wish all of your success, joy and good health in 2021. Love Lala xo
