19.01.2022 All Victorian allied health practitioners have been updated with new regulations under the Stage 4 restrictions. Osteopaths can only see patients that are deemed as "Urgent". The department of health has defined "urgent" as being able to provide services that prevent significant change/deterioration in functional independence necessitating escalation of care. ... This means we can provide services; If the absence or delay of Osteopathic care is going to cause significant worsening of symptoms and will affect daily activities And/or going to cause you to seek care from a GP/specialist/emergency care or hospital visit We understand that this may be a little confusing for some, apart from sending an SMS reminder, we will aim to have one of our Osteopaths contact you prior to your appointment to discuss the urgency of your treatment. If you have an upcoming appointment and believe it is non-urgent, please call our clinic (on 9465 7877) to reschedule your appointment till after mid - September.
