25.01.2022 Following the recent easing of COVID-19 restrictions, the Lalor Tennis Club will commence coaching activities and limited member access to the courts effective from Tuesday 19th May 2020. Until further notice, the courts will be available for member use on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4.30-7.30pm, and on Saturdays from 10am-1pm. To book a court, simply email LTC at [email protected]. 24 hour notice will be required to book courts, and court usage limited to 1 hour ...per booking to allow for more members to use the facilities. Strict safety measures and social distancing will apply. We all must take respinsibility to minimise the effects and spread of COVID-19 and ensure a safe and healthy environment at Lalor Tennis Club. If you intend on using the court, please note the following: 1.5metres social distancing to be adhered to at all times Courts can only be hired for single or doubles tennis (max. 4 people on a court to ensure social distancing can be adhered to) Club room will be closed, (except if restrooms are required) All court users to bring their own filled bottle of water (water stations will not be in operation during this time) A record of attendance will need to be maintained for contact tracing purposes If you are unwell, please stay home. Anyone arriving at Lalor Tennis Club with cold-like symptoms will be asked to leave. Hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes will be available for members to use. Thorough cleaning practices are being maintained at LTC, including antiseptic wipe down of doors, gates and nets. Lastly, we encourage all facility users to download the COVIDSafe app to assist with participant tracking in the case of a positive COVID-19 test result of a participant. Enjoy the facilities, maintain good hygiene practices, and stay safe!

12.01.2022 Tennis Lessons at Lalor Tennis Club begins today, HOORAY!!! Tennis Programs Victoria and Lalor Tennis Club have placed a COVID 19 sign in/out form to keep TRACK of people coming in and out of our venue. To keep track, we need anyone who enters the tennis club to please sign in and sign out. This way we are doing the right thing and keeping us COVID safe.... Upon arrival you will also see hand sanitiser and wipes. Please use it before and after each lesson and place used wipes in the bin. Please bring a bottle of water as the taps will not be accessible. Looking forward to seeing you all soon...

12.01.2022 What a successful day and an awesome turnout at our Tennis Club's 'Come and Try day' and our Lalor Sporting Hub's Family Fun Day!! Thank you to all the community for embracing our event and taking the time to join in the fun! Our live entertainment was a crowd hit where the talents of the singers, dancers, acoustic musicians, and band was on display and admired by all!... A massive thank you to our fellow clubs, the Lalor Football Club, the Lalor Bowls Club and the Lalor Cricket club, as well as the army of volunteers who made today happen! We whole heartedly thank Andrew Giles MP for opening the Family Fun Day event, also Jackie, Sunshine and the City of Whittlesea Council for their support and guidance. Can't wait 'til next year!

11.01.2022 In accordance with Stage 4 Vic Government restrictions tennis is no longer permitted. As such, the Lalor Tennis Club's courts and pavilion will no longer be accessible (until further notice). Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe!

By becoming a member of Lalor Tennis Club you will be given coded access to use the courts at your convenience. Playing tennis with friends is now so much easier*.... To become a member, simply sign up at lalortennisclub.com.au/membership. * Please note that under current COVID19 restrictions, a maximum of 4 people are allowed per court, allowing for safe distancing. A sanitation and wellbeing kit is available on court to be used before and after play. Sign in/out forms are available for all court users to complete for contact tracing purposes. 03.01.2022 Hi all, in response to the current pandemic that we are facing, Tennis Victoria have released the following statement: https://www.tennis.com.au///a-message-from-tennis-victoria A key message within the statement reads:... 'With the continued escalation of social isolation measures in Victoria and following consultation with the tennis community and Government, Tennis Victoria is recommending that all tennis programmes and coaching be cancelled, including one on one coaching, until further notice'. 'All club, association and social play be cancelled until further notice also. Local council will be enforcing Tennis Victoria's recommendation' and access to the Lalor Tennis Club courts and pavilion will no longer be made available. We all need to work together in keeping each other safe, so please stay home and follow the Government requirements The Lalor Tennis Committee and Coaching team wish our members and the community longevity, good health and strength to face the challenges ahead. #stayhome #stayalive
