Businesses are increasingly vulnerable to cyber attack and the larger or more complex your business is there is an increased risk of being targeted by cyber criminals. Information of the scam can be found on the Australian Government website https://lnkd.in/gFk9736 ... Don't leave your business exposed to this threat. Contact us to cover your business today. 20.01.2022 We've had quite a number of business insurance customers ask us this week about what happens to their insurance if they close up during the Covid 19 shutdown period. The good news is most commercial insurance provide cover for this up to 30 days of shut down and many of the policies we sell have longer period, however this varies from insurer to insurer. Some business insurers have extended this cover automatically but the best advice we can provide is to do the following.... 1 - Make sure you notify us of any closure greater than 30 days so we can let your insurer know in advance. 2 - Lock your premises up as normal and ensure that your security systems including alarms are working and active. 3 - Ensure rubbish bins and or outdoor storage of materials or equipment are secured within your premises if possible. 4 - If you are able to, check in on your premises regularly throughout the shut down to ensure things are secure. If you have any doubts feel free to contact me personally. Regards. Mike Lancaster Managing Director
