James Rebanks, a Shepherd from England’s famously beautiful Lake District, walked on stage, sat in a tub chair and told us stories of life on the land and how opening a Twitter account changed his life. Rebanks now has nearly 130k followers around the world! Twitter fame led to a book deal, with his memoir The Shepherd’s Life (2015) becoming a critically acclaimed international bestseller which... has been translated into 18 languages not bad given Rebanks left school at 15, barely able to write.
