17.01.2022 Starting the weekend of 3 - 4 July, the Lambing Flat Folk Museum will be open on Fridays to Mondays from 10 am to 4 pm, with last entry at 3 pm to allow the volunteers to clean and sanitise the museum for the following day. The four day weekends will be in operation for the foreseeable future, or until the Covid-19 threat has passed.

15.01.2022 At the Young Historical Society Incorporated AGM on Thursday 25 February 2020 the entry price for Adults was raised to $7.00. All other prices remain the same.

13.01.2022 The 100 year old Young Cup, won by the five year old mare Blanny in 1920. The cup is on display at the Lambing Flat Folk Museum until the Young Cup is run on 16 May 2020. 100 years ago the race was run at the Tipperary Racecourse near the "Three Mile Rush". Most of the horses for the meeting were taken there by train as the platform was extended to make it easy to load and unload the horses.

11.01.2022 The Museum display set up for the 2020 Lambing Flat Chinese Festival. The Hilltops Visitor Information Centre has again loaned the Museum the Lanzhou Friendship Banner for our display. The Museum will be open from 9 am until 8 pm on the day of the festival, 21 March 2020.

05.01.2022 The Lambing Flat Chinese Festival... The Lambing Flat Folk Museum Saturday 30 March 2019 from 9 am to 9 pm $2 entry per person on that day



04.01.2022 Come along and see our Railway display. The volunteers have set up the display again this year to highlight how the Railway was such an integral part of the life of Young and the surrounding villages and towns.

02.01.2022 The Lambing Flat Chinese Festival display is now completed. We have the Lanzhou Sister City Banner on display. Come visit the Lambing Flat Folk Museum during the Festival. On Saturday 30 March 2019 the entry fee is $2 per person. Looking forward to seeing you on the day.

01.01.2022 The Green Ivy Cafe will be opening on Wednesday 4 September 2019 behind the Lambing Flat Folk Museum in Campbell Street Young NSW. Their opening hours will be: Mon-Fri 7.30am - 4pm and Sat-Sun 8.30am - 3pm. They will open for functions and can be booked for after hours events.
