20.01.2022 A person (positive Covid) believed to be about 19 -20 visited the Wallsend Diggers Club, Hotel Jesmond and Lambton Park Hotel between Wednesday and Friday. Our Club has been following Government Instuctions by registering all visitors to the Club, temperature taking and sanitizing. We have to continue to be vigilant and keep this operating. It is important to follow these rules. If we do not, the authorities will shut us down plus put a strain on our finances with a hefty... fine. Some rules to follow: :Register at the front desk stating time of arrival and then sign out with the departure time. :Temperature taken. :Sanitize. We have notices on each table which state: DO NOT MOVE CHAIRS OR TABLES to be next to your friends. DO NOT STAND AROUND socializing. You must be seated. Of course there are times when you want to buy raffle tickets, go to the Bar or to the Ladies Room, that is all OK, just don't loiter. The Bar staff and Directors may approach and ask you to sit down etc. Please do not be offended - we are all trying to do our job (and keeping the Club open) Please social distance 1.5 metres apart. We have to try harder.
