22.01.2022 Hi all, We trust that day 2 of lockdown is treating you well. We would also like to send a message of support to our community members and our neighbouring community members that have been affected by recent fires. Thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers for your commitment and selflessness.... Please look out for any updates regarding arrangements from Wednesday on, we should have more information within the next couple of days. In light of the current situation I’m sure you will understand that Transition Visits for our 2021 preschool, foundation and year 8 students will not occur this coming Tuesday and Wednesday. We will inform you of any decisions around Week 8s transition when we receive directives around the next phase of restrictions. Thinking of everyone at this time, Jaslyn

17.01.2022 , . It's officially National NAIDOC Week, and this year’s theme is Always Was, Always Will Be. It's about recognising that First Nations... people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. The First Peoples engraved the world’s first maps, made the earliest paintings of ceremony and invented unique technologies. They also built and engineered structures predating well-known sites such as the Egyptian Pyramids and Stonehenge. To learn more about the theme, visit: www.naidoc.org.au or follow National NAIDOC. #NAIDOC2020 #NAIDOCWeek

09.01.2022 In Health, the Year 10 class was posed the following question in Term 2: ‘how can we improve the wellbeing of the school community?’ With this Chelsea, Abbey, Tahli, Olivia and Bella came up with the idea to revamp the girls secondary toilets, which consequently became their Stage 1 Community Studies project. They reflected that girls often find the toilets a place they can go when feeling overwhelmed and needed some time to regather their thoughts and that to be effective f...or this purpose they needed some attention. With the support of Mrs Keough, this group of dedicated and brilliant young women have worked tirelessly to develop a colour palette, paint walls and tiles, paint quotes on the doors, source decor to beautify the space and create an inviting and calming atmosphere for all girls to gather their thoughts during the school day. We commend these young women for their thoughtfulness and hard work - you have done a magnificent job! See more

03.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. Learn what to say next and help us move closer to our vision of a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. Head to www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask
