24.01.2022 The Lancefield and District Farmers Market is delighted to announce that this essential service for the community is confirmed for Saturday August 22. This market will move to Romsey Community Sports Oval, at Park Lane Romsey. It will occur on the usual date and time, Saturday August 22 from 9am-1pm. The market is an essential food service and will operate under strict adherence to all State government, Council and Victorian Farmers' Market Association safety and hygiene g...uidelines. We ask shoppers to remember that during the pandemic, this is not a social event, and to limit shopping to one person per household. We ask people to be safe, stay distant, shop for provisions from our local farmers, supporting our local economy, and go home. Above all, be respectful of the need to follow safety guidelines - there will be extra volunteers on hand to help make this happen. (Pool noodles may indeed be visible as we help us all keep our distances!) The Friends of the Lancefield Market wish to thank all of the many supporters and absolutely all of the community groups and people who have been consulted and involved in this decision. We look forward to seeing you at Romsey Oval on Saturday the 22nd. Entry via Park Lane, please follow all signage. Stay tuned for any new regulations we may need to adhere to at the Market.
