25.01.2022 Corporate Bowls 2020 The Corporate Bowls competition for 2020 has come to an exciting end with many players keen for another competition in February 2021. Many thanks to local businesses and community for their support. With a full green of 48 players and a couple of teams on the side-line you will need to get in early if you want to participate in the February competition, watch our Facebook page and the Courier for announcements. Many thanks to our wonderful sponsors Lanc...elin Gull Roadhouse, Endeavour Tavern, Moore Community Grants (Shane Love MLA) and the Lancelin Post Office Store. Thanks, are also extended to our hardworking kitchen staff of Ray, Julie, Pat, Robyn and Julez who did a great job in catering for the hungry players. Thanks also to Anita, Shiner and crew for keeping up the refreshments. The last week had players keen to do well and was very exciting with the result coming down to the last game and last few ends. When final cards were in the two favorites had both faltered and an outsider muscled their way in to take the main prize of a perpetual trophy donated by Frank Hazel, thanks Frank and vouchers from the Endeavour Tavern. The local Police teams of Super Troopers and Hot Fuzz played one another with Pato and his team victorious showing that he is head rooster in the chook pen. Round 4 winners were the Lookouts with 4 points +17, many thanks to our sponsor Moore Community Grants. Final standings: Winners: Loose Ends 12 points +21 R/up: Odd Bods 12 points +18 - equal JAMM 12 points +18 - equal Equal 4th:Golfers 10 points +22 Lookouts 10 points +22 Next years winner: Lancelin Sands Many thanks to all for the spirit you played the games in and for creating a fun atmosphere, we hope to see you back on the green in February.

12.01.2022 Another fabulous weekend at Lancelin for the ladies 2 day classic. Saturday delivered great weather, a sunny day with a gentle breeze to keep us cool. Sunday was a whole new story! Cyclonic conditions with a howling southerly. Hats went flying, bowls had a mind of their own but that didn’t deter 3 teams from winning all games! Congratulations Robin Higgins from Dandaragan and her team. A huge thank you to Di Fieldhouse the best DJ ever, another terrific Saturday night party. Di never fails to hit the right spot and had a ball delivering music to fit the theme Australia! The night had it all, including a footy being kicked around the room when Up there Cazaly was featured, followed by howls of protest when the Collingwood theme song was played!!! Thanks ladies, you make the weekend special. See you all next year.
12.01.2022 It’s been a busy time in and around our club. Good job to all bowlers who have supported both club, league and other events. It’s always good to see our girls playing excellent bowls and sharing fellowship when they are out and about. Pat, Sylvia & Anne were runners up at the Leman Gala day. The Cervantes Gala Day saw Pat, Rose, Ray & Jules in 3rd place. Well done ladies. League Pairs were played at Ledge Point and a victorious Pat Williams & Nat Canning (Bindoon) took... out the title, congrats girls. Runners up Pru & Sylvia from LANCELIN we’re pretty choofed with their day too. Corporate Bowls has been running for 4 weeks. The freezing cold evenings sought us out in the beginning then we finished with spectacular balmy evenings under lights and a red hot sunset aided with a fair dose of bushfire smoke. Everyone had a fabulous time, lots of laughter and our internal spies noted some fine talent on these nights! On behalf of our President Jungle Williams and his committee we wish you all a great Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2020. See you on the green ! See more

All hell broke out when one Nun broke her rosary beads they turned into weapons on the floor as dinner was being served! Thanks to the bevy of wonderf...ul volunteers who put on a great weekend. Invite your friends lovers and neighbours, everyone welcome, dress is casual and comfortable, please wear bowling shoes. For those that don’t have, a flat comfy shoe will be fine.
