25.01.2022 If you are like us and love Christmas (34 days to go!!!!) you might be thinking about getting the Christmas lights out. But, it's important that any lights used are safe. So, our friends at Master Electricians Australian have made a checklist to help keep everyone safe this Christmas. After the year we've all had, please be safe and enjoy a very Merry Christmas

25.01.2022 Our new website is up and running! A big shout out to North Lakes Web Design for working tirelessly with us to produce a no-nonsense yet practical website (Exactly like us). Check it out and let us know if we can help you with your electrical needs. http://www.landaelectrical.com.au/

24.01.2022 Do you or someone you know own a rental property? If so, have a look at the Electrical Safety Office's Guidelines for tenants. "It contains at-a-glance information and some simple things tenants can do to make using electricity in their home as safe as possible. This includes testing safety switches and smoke alarms, dangers in roof spaces, checking and maintaining electrical appliances, overhead powerlines and the dangers of buying electrical appliances online." https://www.worksafe.qld.gov.au//electrical-safety-in-rent

20.01.2022 So exciting to be apart of this amazing project!!!

19.01.2022 Despite many opinions that he wouldn't see another year; the "Boss Man" has reached yet another birthday. And what a year it has been - falling up and down stairs, hitting his a head on things he had no business hitting and 4 hospital stays (as of today's date, the year is not over). And, not to mention turning into Will Smith (or so he believes) with his robot arm (see pic below). It's been a crazy year for the birthday boy, but he takes it all in his stride. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our amazing Boss, great dad and wonderful husband (even if he didn't want her driving his "new ride")

15.01.2022 Whilst it's still unsure what TC Oma will do; it is best to be safe than sorry. Take a look at the Ergon Energy website for great tips on how to prepare and stay safe before, during and after not only storms but cyclones as well. https://www.ergon.com.au//storms-/storm-and-cyclone-safety.

10.01.2022 Happy Birthday to our fearless leader!!! The man who decided almost 10 years ago to start a business and take a lot of people along for the ride - and that it has been. P.S Apart from the less hair up top and more on his face, he really hasn't changed in 23 years!!!! Luke Hunt

09.01.2022 Congratulations to our Apprentice Stephen Punter for winning the 2nd Year Bracken Ridge Queensland Tafe Apprentice of the Year Award. We'd liked to think it had something to do with your Mentor Luke Hunt, but we all know it was ALL you!!!

08.01.2022 We couldn't have said it better ourselves....... We'd like to thank our staff, suppliers, contractors, builders and most importantly our customers for your support over the last 12 months. We are taking a well earned break, but will be back Monday the 6th of January 2020. Merry Christmas and happy new year!!!

06.01.2022 ARE YOU AWARE......of your obligations? "Since January 2017, Queenslanders having a home built or substantially renovated have been required to have interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms installed. From 1 January 2022, all homes being sold, leased or having their lease renewed must have hardwired photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms installed in every bedroom, connecting hallways and on each storey.... From 1 January 2027, this requirement will apply to all homes." If you are unsure of your obligations, please have a look at the Queensland Fire & Emergency Services website https://www.qfes.qld.gov.au//smokealarms/Pages/default.aspx or give us a call.

05.01.2022 We hope everyone is okay after the weekend

01.01.2022 Please stay safe over the next few days. With the high chance of gale force winds and heavy rain, there becomes the possibility of fallen power lines - so please remember, "pick up the phone, never a fallen powerline". (Energex)
