05.01.2022 The Land Development Corporation has announced BMD Urban Pty Ltd, as the successful tenderer to complete construction works for Stage 1 of Kittyhawk Estate. Works include a new intersection off Channel Island Road, an access road and subdivision at Darwin’s Middle Arm Industrial Precinct. Kittyhawk Estate is part of the Middle Arm Industrial Precinct, with Stage 1 delivering 32.5 hectares of land available for strategic investment in large gas, energy, mineral and chemical processing activities. The project will commence in June 2020 and is set to be completed by the end of the year. We will keep you all updated on the progress of the project.



04.01.2022 Registrations for the NT Governments Expressions of Interest (EOI) to develop and operate data centres in Darwin closes tomorrow. The NT Government has identified sites in the suburb of Wishart, which are considered suitable for a Data Centre or numerous Data Centres due to ample land available for expansion and up to 100MW of power able to be supplied to the site. 03.01.2022 The Land Development Corporation acknowledges this year’s National NAIDOC Week and are pleased to share that we have implemented a Special Measures Recruitment Plan to proactively encourage Aboriginal employment within LDC. The plan provides for Priority Consideration for Aboriginal Applicants for all advertised job vacancies. The plan has been approved by the Commissioner for Public Employment.
