23.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone who attended yesterday's Annual Spring Bull Sale. The Spring weather was turned on for us and we saw 100% clearance rate of 109/109 bulls sold with the top price of $19000 for Lot 1 Landfall Keystone N666, sold to Josh Harvey of King Island. We would like to thank the Harvey family for their continued strong support over the years. An average of $8853 was achieved.... Thank you to our extremely hard working Landfall team, Roberts team, Achmea Insurance and Auctioneer Warren Johnston. Pictured with Ed Archer(Landfall) is Josh Harvey.

05.01.2022 Meet Frank Archer, one of the many people behind the scenes/bulls here at Landfall Angus. Frank is the middle child and third son of Gerald and Lou. With a passion for agriculture and breeding livestock ingrained into him from a young age, Frank ventured off to New Zealand to study Agriculture in his early twenties. This enabled him to future proof his role back home in conjunction with the growth of the Landfall herd. Away from the farm, Frank is a football fanatic, over the... years taking on the role of player, senior captain, reserves coach, President and now Vice President for the Old Launcestonians Football Club. Frank is a passionate people person, dedicated friend, husband to the lovely Zara, and an incredible dad to his three young children; Hedley, Joe and Winnie. To read more about Frank head to the website https://www.landfall.com.au/sales-and-events click on the catalogue PDF and page 112 in our 2020 Autumn Bull Sale Catalogue.

02.01.2022 Meet Tim Wheeler another one of the many valued members of the Landfall team. A country kid at heart, Tim lived in Swan Bay until he was 10 before moving to a property in Mount Direction. Whilst growing up his passion for animals was extremely evident to all those around him. He enjoyed raising calves, lambs and pigs and appreciated his rural upbringing, making the most of any animal related opportunity. Tim attended the local school where he quickly became involved in the sh...owing of both sheep and cattle, and the carcase competitions. Junior show judging was a strength of Tim’s with a real eye for, and interest in cattle. This lead Tim to Landfall where he completed his farming apprenticeship before heading to Victoria for study and industry experience. Over the past ten years Tim has been back at Landfall working alongside Frank and Gerald at Landfall as the assistant manager with a keen interest in the cattle breeding program. Tim married Gerald and Lou’s eldest daughter Ellie, on the Landfall property in 2012. They are now a family of five with three beautiful kids, Grace, 4, Jack, 2 and the recent addition of a baby girl Meg, born in mid-July. With a solid, longstanding connection to Landfall and an absolute heart of gold Tim is a valuable member of both the Landfall Angus business and the Archer family. To read more about Tim and his story see page 92 of the catalogue for our upcoming Spring Sale on the 16th of September. See more
