24.01.2022 Contents insurance for tenants? This is quite often overlooked as tenants don't realise that if the property is burnt down or some other catastrophe the insurance the landlord has doesn't cover their personal belongings. So it might be a good idea to let them know. If you need help or assistance to get cover send us a message

23.01.2022 Today's question from a tenant was about getting their bond returned. The agent had conducted an inspection, asked for some minor items to be completed which were done. The agent then re-inspected and asked for more minor items to be done that weren't on the original exit report. Now in this case it is a grey area but in my opinion the terms were met and the bond should be returned. The grey area is if the tenant tried to hide damage etc that could not be noticed on the initial exit inspection, then the tenant is liable. So my advice is return the property in same condition you leased it, and all will be fine.

19.01.2022 I've had several queries these past weeks about properties we have advertised and then had no response back when we've replied to peoples requests, or worse not showing up when they said they would. A simple "Thanks but I've changed my mind" would be fabulous, or even better send us some chocolate :-)
