Due to the overwhelming response we have received could we please ask for the following to occur: - ...ring their point of contact at their local depot before dropping any goods off! (details below) - please only donate good quality items. - No whitegoods or electrical items to be donated. - Please pack well and label each box with exactly what it is. At this stage it is still difficult for the shires to let us know exactly what people are needing as a lot of the waters still have not subsided. We definitely do not want to be sending goods they do not require as this will just create more work for them! Any residents in these areas if you see this post and think of anything you are in need of please let us know!! At this stage we have been told they are in need of: - medical supplies for humans and animals including waterproof bandages, band aids, disinfectant and anything medical you are able to spare. - Fly veils for horses - weaner pellets - horse pellets - calf pellets - horse lick blocks - Insect repellent for humans and animals - Schoolroom art and craft supplies - Schoolroom general stationary and miscellaneous supplies - Schoolroom furniture (we will let you know if we have enough when you ring your depot) - good quality clothing (please no old worn out clothes) As we have more information on what people require we will post regular updates. 08.01.2022 2020 FITZROY BULL SALE RESULTS ARE IN The 14th Fitzroy Crossing Bull Sale has exceeded all expectations this year, grossing just shy of $1 million dollars i...n total sales. The annual event is the richest bull sale in Western Australia, which attracts premium cattle from a dozen Queensland studs every year. Despite a smaller crowd this year due to coronavirus restrictions, the event still managed to attract some big buyers from across the northern WA. The top price was $11,500 for a droughtmaster from Sevenell & Lynsey Park stud, paid by Andrew Forrests Harvest Road Group and $11,500 for a Queenslander from Barlyne Pastoral, paid by Hancock Agricultures Fossil Downs station.
