07.01.2022 Exciting news to share!! Founder and President LCSC Satinder Chawla, has been nominated for India Australia Business & Community Awards (IABAC) finalist. Satinder Chawla has been nominated alongside other great personalities who have demonstrated excellence in the field of Sports, for the IABCA Spirit of Sport Award.... Satinder Chawla, sports lover whether its badminton, footy, athletics, cricket, volleyball, hockey or basketball. Satinder has represented his bank in badminton in India for continuously 15 years, bringing pride to his bank and himself almost every year. Not only badminton, but participating and winning in other games as well. Popularly known as the Badminton man of Punjab & Sind Bank. After moving to Australia in 2012, he continued his passion for Badminton by playing and coaching kids/teens weekly. Finally he formed a sports club Landmark Community Sports Club in 2016, with the support of few youngsters (Pride of LCSC). LCSC has been affiliated with Badminton Victoria. Satinder is Badminton Victoria's affiliated Coach which has helped him coaching and training the community members. He participated in Sikh games in 2018 and won gold in singles and doubles 55+ badminton tournament. He along with other sports lover, organised Sikh games in 2019 in Melbourne and won in veteran’s badminton tournament. He got an opportunity to learn a lot about AFL and has been AFL Community Ambassador for 4 times in a row. He also got an opportunity to work as an Ambassador in Commonwealth Games Gold Coast and in Sudhiraman Badminton tournament in Gold Coast. Three Cheers for Satinder Chawla!!
