10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Given the current situation with the spread of corona virus we need to take some pro-active measures to protect both you and our staff as we try to move through this situation. Firstly we are open for business and are grateful that we are in an industry that been able to continue trading. Our thoughts are with those that aren’t able to continue working.... Store traffic & Management Please try to call in advance and if possible stay in your car. The following are some initiatives that will help to protect us all and still allow us to service you. If you have recently travelled overseas or are unwell in any way please do not come into our stores. Give us a call and we will help as much as we can. Please try to call or email us in advance of you coming to the shop with an order with as much notice as possible. We will pack it and pit it in your vehicle when you come through the drive through without you having to get our of your car. If you need to come into the shop please be mindful of keeping distance where possible from our staff. The front counter will have 1.5m space that you will undoubtedly seen in other stores. Deliveries will continue where possible. Please take the time to be organised at your end so that our staff do not come in contact with anyone where possible. We cannot deliver everything and will work hard to keep up. Please be patient. Stock Availablity Please be mindful that there will be periodic shortages of a range of stock through the next few months across a range of categories. We can’t predict where or when this will happen and are working hard to have the right products on hand at the right time. Many of you will already be aware that a range of herbicides may be difficult to access through the year. Try to plan ahead and let us know your needs in advance where possible. This enables us to make informed decisions about placing stock as it arrives through the year. There is no need to panic or stockpile products!!!!!!! We are taking this situation seriously and need to be pro-active for both you and our staff. Thanks for your consideration and patience.

01.01.2022 **Soil temp update** With many growers looking at planting summer crops in the coming weeks it is extremely important to keep an eye on what the soil temperature is doing. Sudangrasses, sorghums & millets need a soil temperature of at least 15 degrees Celsius and rising. In the high rainfall areas of Northeast Vic this generally occurs from 1/11 onwards. We’ve seen people get caught out in the past by sowing early, this will lead to patchy germinations and reduced yields. ...Always read soil temperature at around 9am as this is the coolest time of day in the ground. Currently Dederang Vic is 12 degrees celsius & Eskdale Vic is 11.5 degrees celsius (top 10cm). For more info please contact Agro’s Rikk Thompson or Darren McCormick See more
